Kosuke stood and listened to Yen give him congratulations and more advice on genjutsu. He then heard him mention teaching him a low ranked genjutsu. "What genjutsu are you talking about? I specialize in Ninjutsu so a genjutsu would be very useful." Kosuke said. A new jutsu always interested him.

Yen smiled as he heard the boy speak and nodded. "In many cases it's easy to over look a genjutsu and like many take medical jutsu for granted they do the same for genjutsu as well. Having one at hand makes you a bit more versitile as well as assure you it might give you the edge at a given moment for one always hesitates unless they are specifically made to counter genjutsu. As for the one I'll teach you. It'll be one such thing to consider as well as take to heart it's fun."


Yen would preform a couple  handsigns boar, dog, bird, Monkey, ram. At that point the air would begin to heat up immediately as the grass begins to sway. To one it would be like the sun beating down on one for hours yet the heat would increase rapidly as the air would fluctuate and the unmistakable rushing of wind as the dull orange glow of the sun increases rapidly as one would look at the ground. Yet should one look up the sky would be orange as one would notice a molten look the bubbling of air pockets exploding from the mass of the fire ball as the heat would immediately double singeding the earth as a hellish fire ball larger then the entire area would fall at speeds almost unthinkable. The fact one would make such a monstrosity was one thing as it was the size of hundreds of great fireballs and containing the intensity of each one combined as the heat would radiate like the sun itself falling to the earth. As the grass begins to burn as the flaming ball approaches.

Kosuke noticed Yen preforming hand seals and then felt a sudden heat. It seemed to be coming from above him, when he looked up he noticed a huge meteor descending from the heavens covered in flames. Of course Kosuke knew this was a Genjutsu, but the heat and sound of the fireball coming towards him seemed so real it too every ounce of concentration he had to form the tiger seal and dispel the Genjutsu with a burst of chakra. After the meteor and the heat vanished, he noticed the once charred grass was now green and lively and the cloudy ashen sky was a vibrant blue yet again. He brushed a hand through his hair and thought of how Yen preformed this jutsu and what he knew exactly a Genjutsu was. It was using your chakra to disrupt the flow of an opponent’s chakra in order to make them experience things that weren’t really happening. He began to form the required seals one by one while focusing his chakra towards Yen’s head. He began to imagine that giant fireball and the heat and the sky and the wind and as he formed the final seal and pushed out his chakra he looked to see if Yen was affected.

Yen nodded with approval as the boy released himself again and started working on the technique.  very good sharp and taking in account how he has to work on the technique in question. Very good.  yen thought to himself as he watched the boy work on the technique and looked at yen to see confirmation. The air felt a little diffrent a bit hotter as yen glanced at the sky nothing. Yen spoke up after a second of thought as a tip to help him get a grasp of it "Keep in mind to use a genjutsu it goes not only imagination but also intentions. It's easy with ninjutsu to in tend to make a fire ball real and then it spits out your mouth. This is due to making a physical manifestation of fire. You know how fire feels and what it does. So you must to make this genjutsu do what a massive fire ball would do to someone when they least expect it. It must be so big they have no choice to look up. It's there you strike. The genjutsu is designed to distract and disorientation. Make it real make the world around it real. That's the goal of the genjutsu." 

Yen would wait as the boy would try again to use and preform the genjutsu again.

Kosuke began to think about how a regular fireball feels. How the heat it gives off flicks against his skin, he then thought about that if it was 100x hotter and coming from above. He then pictured it being 100x larger too. Then he thought to make the ground burn as it comes nearer and even the person afflicted feeling their own skin becoming singed from the intense heat. He pictured the skies becoming tinged an ashen red and the clouds becoming a menacing black. And suddenly the meteor breaks through the clouds and is on a direct course for Yen. After having the idea in his mind he decided to make it into a reality. Not a mere Genjutsu but a truly devastating mind game. So, how to use this in essence harmless technique to fool an opponent into thinking it was something else… Then he had the idea, He began to form about 10 handseals at random in a very quick pace then he performed the ones required for the jutsu and focused not only on yen but the surrounding area and just for dramatic effect upon activating the technique he lifted his arm into the sky and yelled “Behold!” he then laughed as maniacally as he could manage while adopting a crazed look on his face. He was going to milk it with everything he had in order to overdramatize the technique and possibly fool yen into thinking he had used a separate technique. As the technique took effect Kosuke looked to yen to see if there was a reaction.

Yes getting better at production  but a genjutsu is more then just a act of desperation. But shows more. He must embody and his chakra must embody the illusion. A illusion is powerful but not because of content but the emotion in which it takes form. He must fool me with not only his physical actions but chakra as well. Yen mentally noted as he spoke. "Purpose and intention. Must be one. Your chakra must reflect off your purpose and intention with a illusion. If I were to point at you again my goal is to keep you in place and make you feel pain. My goal is to step on your broken body and further crush it as I stand their. That fire ball has got to stay and be a reminder to me of what I'm going to be hit with. Your chakras has got to fool my senses in it being real while you are doing all that. Yet sometimes it's better to be simple and make it not one based on intention but determination. That's your goal. Make it real as possible and be certain it is.  If you can't belive it then it's not real. You are after all the genjutsu caster. It better be believable. Got it?"

“Got it!” Kosuke would say determined to do better this time around. He had to make it feel real. So as he began to focus on the amount of chakra he needed to use in order to use the great fireball technique he tried to multiply it by two and then begin to release that amount as he formed the handseals just like he would with any other Ninjutsu. He would then focus on making the fireball in the air look and feel and even sound believable. He focused on the area around them to make it seem to catch fire, he then focused the most chakra to yen, to attempt to make him immobile while under the effects of this Genjutsu and also to make his skin feel the heat and his eyes tear up from the brightness of the fireball. He knew that if he could make yen’s body feel like it was about to get hit then whether or not Yen knew he was in a small Genjutsu wouldn’t matter as his adrenal glands would still pump and this might cloud his judgment. Kosuke also tried to make his release on chakra believable as he ran through the extra handseals and then the actual ones to make it appear he knew a separate jutsu to call down a meteor. As he focused on Yen to make this the most believable attack yet he noticed that if he focused hard enough he could make Yen’s skin feel a burning sensation as the meteor came closer and possibly even make the grass around him catch fire. As all this was happening in the gen jutsu, Kosuke looked to see what Yen’s reaction would be. Would he be impressed by his progress, or would he actually fall for the Genjutsu this time? Would Kosuke be closer to learning this troublesome technique?

Yen noted the stronger effort being put behind the technique as the chakra became more adapt and when he looked up the fireball was there in its glory and eccsense yet something was missing. Intention, deception, subtleness was the fact of the matter as the heat could be held this wasn't a tap onthe shoulder it made itself plain and clear of a genjutsu of a fireball. Not many would note such a detail and such but as one who dedicated his studies in genjutsu yen nodded as he spoke. "You are definitely getting there. As this is one of the more simple genjutsu this was also one of the hardest to get a hang of since you must know both how to master your chakra to fool diffrent levels of chakra. But its not so much of a fireball being there. It's subtle in its presence as in its like a tap on the shoulder. Eventually one will notice it. That ball as it gets closer gets  hotter and more potent basically meaning if that's all your putting to make it a consistant heat that won't do any good. Keep in mid genjutsu goes in conjunction with time. It always makes progress forward when used. To make this effectively work it must be constantly moving. Make illusion higher by starting it far and decend faster. One would notice that for certain."

Yen nodded as the boy seemed to have had a difficult time to comprehend the last bit of the technique but still yen smiled as he scooped up the girl and left for the hospital as she seemed to have collapsed from exhaustion. man they need to work on their chakra work and resistance. As a lot of people have to work on such things. But today Is a grand day to train. They Will get better. yen thought as he walked out the gate dropping the girl off at the hospital before heading home.
