Haru watched something change in Xyxer’s mannerism, as if something had dawned on him. He wondered how well Xyxer had known Rin. Perhaps his death had been as painful for Xyxer as it had been for Haru. Whatever happened in the man’s mind, after a moment of silence, something seemed to change in the man’s tone, and the way he carried himself. He seemed much more… casual, now. So much so that the man stood up and asked Haru to join him for… orange juice?
”...Sure, why not?” Replied Haru, watching the man proceed out the window. Not missing a beat, Haru jumped out of the window after Xyxer, reminded of his early days in Tengakure, where he always neglected to use stairs or elevators, preferring to leap recklessly off of buildings.
Following after him, Haru would leap out the window after Xyxer. Having already been wearing his armor due to the previous night’s events, Haru didn’t need to worry much about the impact. Haru aimed his jump so that he did not end up getting a piggy back ride from the Mizukage, landing a meter or so to his left and rolling with the impact, coming back up onto his feet. Walking with the Mizukage now, Haru listened to the man’s question, directed at where he had been during his time as an ANBU.
”I was largely an undercover operative. During his time as Tenkage, Denkiteki had me stationed as both a squad leader for genin and as one of the secretaries working the front desk of the Tenkage office. I never questioned why, but I believe the idea was to stop conflicts before they occurred.” He explained to Xyxer.

Listening to what he had to say, he simply entered the well lit restaurant, ignoring the others within their immediate vicinity. Simply taking a place at a table, he ushered over a waiter and requested a glass of orange juice; in all truth, he did not care for the beverage himself, but Shinji had done it and he was once a Kage.. maybe it was a kage drink? Turning his eyes towards Haru, nodding for him to tell the waiter what he desired. Once the man had left, he spoke once more, "So, what has 'Haru' accomplished? With peers from Kirigakure, I'd assume you'd radiate just as much as them, especially so since you were tutored by one of us." He attempted to smile, although it was difficult for him to do when it wasn't mocking. It made him seem more human though, probably. Or maybe like a robot.. a synth, if you will.

Haru followed behind his leader into the surprisingly well lit restaurant. People looked on and whispered, as they were bound to do, seeing as their Kage just entered the building. He sat down at the table across from Xyxer, nodding at the waiter and requesting the same thing. They came here for orange juice, and damn it, he was getting his orange juice. When the waiter left, the Mizukage spoke again, and actually made Haru think. What had he accomplished? For a moment, Haru pondered what to say.
”...Yeah… I’ve been surrounded by this place all my life, one way or another. I suppose it’s no surprise I ended up sitting here, in the reincarnation of Kirigakure.” He said, commenting on the fact that the majority of his peers were originally from Kirigakure. ”As for accomplishments… When I was a genin, I was selected by the Tenkage and pulled out of my chunin exams as a candidate for ANBU training. I trained alongside Rin and Takeo, under Yozora, completing several S-ranked missions. Among them were killing giant monsters, recovering stolen intel, but the last one was the only one really worth notice, however… That was when Yozora died. Takeo took Yozora to safety, leaving me to fight an S-Ranked missing ninja. I succeeded, but the experience shook me, especially after learning about how she died…” Haru began, effectively summarizing his early days as a Shinobi. It was funny now, looking back, how much had changed.
”...The circumstances of Rin’s and Yozora’s death, as well as two friends of mine, one a clansmen, led me to study medical ninjutsu. While I haven’t been able to uncover the means of their death, I have gleamed other secrets, including how to prevent my own…” Haru said, his weight shifting a bit. ”I’ve also collected a few Kekkei Genkai over the years. You’ve seen me use my Senju DNA, but I also possess that of the Kaguya and the Uchiha.” He added, thinking back to the days when he used his Shikotsumyaku far more frequently.
”While undercover, I trained quite a few genin, the most notable being Altar and Youta. I know I can’t take full credit for Youta, her having been Yozora’s apprentice originally, of course.” He said as the waiter placed the glasses of orange juice on the table, gingerly sipping out of the glass.

There was a rub with Xyxer. Haru said that he had been pulled out of Chuunin exams in order to be prepared for life as an ANBU operative.. That would mean he was selected when he was but a Genin. Despite having had the exact same treatment, he found it somewhat.. off. How could you measure a shinobi's asset before they could display it? He would never understand Suzaku, and it appeared he would neither understand Denkiteki. However, it appeared the male was focused more on prevention of death, notably. It was rather selfless of him. Upon reflection, Xyxer wondered why he had spiraled down the route of destruction as opposed to healing.. Could he have mended the desolation of Sameonna? All he knew was that he aimed to kill things before they killed what he needed. Like the time where he almost executed Rin, with only the compassion of his own sensei saving the boy's life, and in turn, providing the male opposite of him a decent education.
"How did you feel with Takeo as your Tenkage?" He asked with a smirk, taking a small sip from his glass of orange juice. A few flashbacks of his dealings with Shinji washed through his mind, the bonding over orange juice.. didnt he even have a vault of it in his office? Taking another sip, after the male's reply he'd simply respond, "Who do you wish to train now? I presume you watched the Blood Games. Who shows the most hope, in the eyes of Kirigakure's ANBU Captain?"

Haru let out a sigh when Xyxer mentioned Takeo’s time as tenkage. While the change of leadership was necessary due to the Kage’s absence, he did wish that somebody else would have taken up the mantle. Haru himself had no desire to lead, nor did he think himself capable of running an entire village; The paperwork when he posed as a secretary had been enough.
”Personally it felt very surreal. Personally Takeo and I didn’t see eye to eye all that often, and were prone to quarrels.” He answered, remembering back to the time they had first met. ”Honestly, I’m glad you took over. Takeo isn’t much of the type to stick around, and I didn’t foresee a good future with him as our leader, no offense. He simply isn’t the type. That and, of course, it’s hard to swallow, taking orders from someone you once trained alongside.” He said, scratching the back of his head.
At the mention of new prospects for training, Haru shrugged and spoke.
”Malvoes is the obvious answer, simply because he was the winner, in addition to the fact that I had met him before the games. However, I’m none too experienced with puppets, so anything I had to teach would only supplement his fighting style, not improve on it. The Jinchuriki also held promise. I’m no bladesman, but close combat is my area of expertise. I could teach him quite a bit.”[/color=grey] He said, essentially thinking out loud at this point.
”Of course, they’re all chunin now, so maybe I’ll have a look at the next batch of genin. I like to start early with potential apprentices.” He said, looking out the window. ”It is frustrating that our village has such a shortage of medical ninja. Perhaps I’ll look into rectifying that.”

Listening to what he had to say in regards to both questions, he nodded his head a little. He believed he had a faint understanding of what the male was about, so he spoke up slowly, "Are you deciding this information from the bare facts laid before you? Did you analyse their personalities, what they did during the battle?" He took another restrained sip from the glass, allowing the DELICIOUS BEVERAGE to course down his throat. "A Jinchuriki is a loose cannon, Haru. You should know this from the scriptures. We do not wish to give them a promise of too much power with the demon that prowls inside." Pausing for a few more moments, he shrugged his shoulders somewhat, then paused for a few seconds. Slowly, a smile found it's way onto his lips, curling the corners into a cheshire grin, "Are you afraid of me, Haru?"

Haru smirked, sighing a little as he answered.
”As I mentioned, Mitako is a bladesmen, from what I saw. I can’t teach him to control his Bijuu, but I can teach him to rely on his own body.” He elaborated, as Xyxer mentioned not wanting to give Jinchuriki too much power. ”And why not? If we give them a reason to be loyal, drill it into them while they’re young, what would possess them to leave us? Why even bother allowing him to become a ninja in the first place if we didn’t want to harness that power?” He would inquire, then focusing on his observations of Malvoes ”Malvoes demonstrated good self preservation skills, managing to conserve energy where others passed out of exhaustion. Those are some of the most important traits of a medical ninja.” He explained, alluding to the four laws of medical ninjutsu.
Xyxer’s question caught him off guard. He wondered what the man was thinking that made him ask. Shrugging, Haru simply shook his head.
”No, I do not fear you, Xyxer. I respect you, of course, but I do not fear you. If you had truly wanted me dead, you would have came after me yourself, rather than sending Altar. I think you knew he couldn’t succeed all along.” He answered, taking a long drink of the orange juice, setting it down quickly, emphasizing the motion. ”For example, If you really wanted to kill me, you could have poisoned my drink when I wasn’t looking, or had someone do it for you. It wouldn’t have worked, but you get my meaning.” He said, shrugging once more.

Nodding his head a little, it appeared the male was operating predominantly from a medical shinobi standpoint. Perhaps he was not too interested in regular combat characteristics. However, his observations appeared to be accurate and understandable conclusions. Listening to his words about himself, he nodded a little and smiled. It confused him in all honesty, how there appeared to be trust after a meeting. The whole logic of 'If you had wanted to kill me' confused him even further, considering Xyxer was renowned for his toying and prolonged torture. It was all about the hope of survival, and the faint glimmer as the sunlight fades the further you descend into the murky ocean. He took a sip from his glass once more, nodding his head some more towards the end of his words. "I have no reason to kill you yet, so you have a point. I assume it'd be quite an exciting fight considering you're.. rather resistant to death." He paused for a few more seconds before deciding to hit home a little more, "How did it feel when you watched me decapitate the man you held in high esteem and granted you the power you wield today?"

Haru had a hard time reading the man before him, the idle smiles and nods that both of them were giving made it difficult to discern the intentions behind each question, or the understanding of the answer. His comment on a fight between them struck Haru as odd, from what he had read on Xyxer, he wasn’t one for conversations this pleasant in the first place, let alone complementing the abilities of his subordinate. Then again, the reports did seem to only show the extremes.
Nodding at Xyxer’s comment, he would give his answer to the man’s question about his fight with Denkiteki.
”I was conflicted, I won’t lie, but I didn’t really expect him to die. I was hard to kill, and I presumed he’d be even harder to kill, having had much more time to study his medical ninjutsu…” He commented. ”Actually, from what I’ve seen, infinite time. He seems to be in possession of power over another world. I don’t know if you’ve seen this for yourself, or if I just sound mad.” He said, a little tiredly, and with good reason. Thinking back to his time there, where he had acquired his Senju blood, he distinctly remembered Den leaving him to fall through the void for several hours.
Shaking his head at the thought, another one crept into his mind that he had pushed aside earlier, thinking it not the time or place, but he couldn’t resist. He knew little of his master’s life outside of Tengakure, and he rarely saw the man in the company of anyone but his original genin team, and of course, none of them were left around either.
”Forgive me for asking, but how well did you know Rin? I didn’t know many of his friends aside from Kenchi, he seemed to mostly keep to himself.” He inquired to Xyxer.

It appeared the sources he had heard about Denkiteki's abilities in space time were true. Of course, if he ever purchased a book he sold he may have figured that out for free, but he was more akin to scrooge. Then, there was a question regarding his relationship with Rin, and when Kenchi's name was mentioned he felt a slight drop in his heart. He did care for that shinobi. And Rin to a lesser extent. "Before our departure from Kirigakure I didn't know much about him. We were ignorant of one another as I was busy attending to.. Kirigakure's ANBU duty." He paused for a few seconds as he remembered the duties he carried out.. Tearing out a girl's heart for simply wanting to leave her village momentarily. Murdering another young one due to his conflicts within that village.. "We met when Sameonna was escorting me and two others from the village. He appeared upon the sea a small distance away. Upon first inspection, I deemed him a detriment to us despite requesting to join us, so I handled it simply. I waved my hand, he responded, I blitzed towards him for the kill. If Sameonna had not foreseen my deadly intentions, your sensei would have been left within the ocean with his head enjoying it's new life as a football." After that, he paused once more, "When we arrived in Tengakure we scarcely spoke, although we held admiration for one another due to our origins."
