Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Sat Jan 30, 2016 7:43 pm
Queen continued charging at the boy, and even from where she stood, she noticed the boy’s eyes turn into a different shade of color. They were red now, just like she had seen before at the dojo. It was the Uchiha bloodline that she had researched after she had seen it for the first time. From what she gathered through her reliable sources, it was known as the Sharingan and it had the abilities to grant the user to see movement more clearly, letting the Uchiha to be more effective in evading and countering attacks. Too bad the kid sucked at Taijutsu, he could have possibly had great potential at close quarters. There was also something along the lines of being master of Genjutsu, but her sources didn’t gather much on the matter.

The blonde fighter activated her own bloodline just as Jace had activated his, her aura expanding and forming a wise barrier like structure. Even though the sharingan allowed the user to see chakra, it wouldn’t be enough to see this barrier as it was formed through spiritual energy. It would come to a surprise to Jace that Queen was unfazed by the genjutsu. Due to having a dormant chakra system, The blonde girl was unaffected by jutsu that affected the chakra system, such as all types of Genjutsu that controlled a target’s chakra in order to target their senses. Because of this, Queen followed the boy with his eyes as he started to run, and changed her course of direction to follow him dow, now running at an increased speed of 65. Having closed the distance already to about three meters, The blonde fighter leaped into the air in order to try a new technique, and brought her foot out while bringing the other in, aiming her kick for the boy’s upper body (performing dynamic entry if it wasn’t clear). Her jumping kick was performed at a speed of 85 and a strength of 39. If she landed the kick, she would pushed her foot off the boy and perform a backflip before landing on her feet like a total bad ass.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Sun Jan 31, 2016 1:20 am
Jace had his eyes trained on Queen while he ran, making sure that his genjutsu had taken effect. He didn't want to take his eyes off of her so that he could analyze her movements and come up with a formidable plan of attack. He was completely expecting the girl to fall for the genjutsu that he had used on her before moving. Unfortunately, to Jace's utter surprise and complete disappointment, he saw the blond begin to alter her course to chase after the real Jace. What the hell was going on? He knew the reason his genjutsu hadn't really worked on Ita or Kyori since they had the sharingan, but he had absolutely no clue why it hadn't seemed to work on Queen. Was he performing the technique wrong? No that couldn't be it. He had spent hours upon hours practicing this technique so that he could readily use it in battle.

It didn't matter now. He didn't have time to think about that. He knew the girl was obviously much faster than he had originally seen. He still didn't know exactly how fast she was. Not to mention if she was holding back in their first fight, Jace didn't have an accurate measure of her strength either. He only knew dangerous offensive jutsu that could accidentally cause major harm to the girl. He didn't want to do that. They were probably about equal in speed so out running her wouldn't do. He was too inexperienced with taijutsu to allow her to close the distance. That left pretty much only one option for Jace. All of these thoughts occurred in less than a second, a happy outcome from his training with his father to think on his feet.

It was a good thing he had his eyes activated. With his sharingan at this level he was able to catch even the most minute detail in a person's muscle movements. That gave him an edge in predicting his opponent's next actions, which he promptly took advantage of in this little spar of his. A split second before the blonde had altered her course Jace was able to catch the movement of her muscles and predict her trajectory, which had of course spurred all those thoughts to occur. The instant she began to move in the real Jace's direction, half a second after he had predicted it, Jace began to perform a series of five hand seals as fast as he could while he stopped in his tracks and turned to face her. Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake. He barely made it in time. At the exact same time he had finished making the Snake hand seal, he was brutally hit with a flying kick aimed at him by the cute yet feisty little blonde. Or at least it would look like the kick had landed. But instead......

POOF! A cloud of white smoke would appear to surround the point of impact and in Jace's place would be one of the clean cut logs that Ita had lain down a few meters away. The log would split into about a dozen pieces with a resounding crack from the immense force put behind the kick. If that had hit Jace he would have really been in trouble. Luckily for him he managed to escape just in time. At the same time the log had appeared and splintered to pieces from the blonde's kick, Jace would appear 20 meters directly behind Queen. The instant he had appeared, Jace would begin to perform a series of six hand seals at his maximum speed. Rat-Tiger-Dog-Ox-Rabbit-Tiger. Immediately after finishing the final seal, Jace would spew forth six fireballs each with a one foot radius. The fireballs would be moving at 40 speed with 40 power. One fireball was aimed exactly a foot above Queen's head, one foot to her left, one foot to her right, one at the ground just below her and one directly at her back(or chest if she turned around by this point). The fireball aimed at her body would only have a power of 10 but a speed of 40, in case it actually hit her. Jace didn't want to cause any real injury to his future lover.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Mon Feb 01, 2016 12:18 am
Ita was sitting underneath the shade of a nice tree which blocked out the sun contently watching Jace and the blonde girl fight. Ita focused his sharingan on the girl first. Weird. Ita couldn’t see any chakra. Was she even a shinobi? Ita would then see Jace try and perform a genjutsu. It didn’t work. Also weird. Was this girl immune to it somehow? Whatever it was, Ita didn’t linger on the idea for too long since he didn’t know much about genjutsu except from what he learned at the academy and the one technique that he had stolen from jace. Oh Yen’s genjutsu was pretty strong too, but he never really asked him about it. The girl then delivered what looked like a devastating kick to Jace. Ouch. Jace was about to get beat up by a girl, but it turned out to be only a log. Nice. Ita liked the substitution technique and was actually very proficient in using it. Nice one Jace. Jace was getting better with each passing day. He was now where near as strong as Ita, but he was getting there. His friend was also quiet the site. She was as pretty as she was deadly with her fists. What happened next is what intrigued Ita, enough for him to get up off his ass and stop watching the fight and go off to continue with ever more training. Jace had performed a fire jutsu which allowed him to produce several balls of fire, smaller than that of the fireball jutsu which Ita knew. Interesting. Jace knows another jutsu that Ita did not? Well Ita was about to take that from his as well. Not getting one up on Ita, Jace. Ita’s keen eyes read Jace’s hands as if he were moving in slow motion. ‘Rat Tiger Dog Ox Rabbit Tiger’. Easy enough. Ita thought how useful his eyes really were. He could see people in slow motion, view chakra, and now steal all Jace’s techniques. What can’t they do?

Ita yawned and stood up, not caring if Jace’s fire balls scorched his cute little girlfriend. What an abusive relationship. That’s why Ita had no time for girls. Ita turned his back to them and walked off into the distance thinking the hand signs over in his head so he wouldn’t forget them. Time to learn a new technique. Today was turning out to be pretty productive. It was nice to finally be working on a fire jutsu. It had been some time since Ita had even thought of learning another. Well, today was as good as any other day so let’s get to it.  Ita had cut down so many trees to use as training props that he was beginning to think that he should change his profession to a lumber jack or go and destroy a rain forest or something. Environmentalists would seriously hate him. Ita made quick work of some more trees, sticking the logs in the middle of the training field so that his fire techniques would start a forest fire. Ita stood like 10 meters away from the logs and began making several hand signs just like Jace had done, except Ita had done them a little bit faster. (; Ita would then try and produce several fire balls one after another towards his targets. Sadly, none of them even hit the target and eventually fizzled out. How sad. Seriously, Ita what is goin on? You can’t even hit one log. Let us try again. Ita then made more hand signs, rat tiger dog ox rabbit tiger, boom like six fire balls flying towards logs destroying them in awesome firey chaos. What satisfaction. Ita shot some more fireballs out of his mouth destroying the training field even more. Ita quickly grew tired and decided to go back and steal more jutsu, I mean to see if Jace had killed his friend. Ita made sure the fires were out and walked back over to the same tree he had been watching from bellow from earlier and continued to watch them fight.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Mon Feb 01, 2016 1:04 am
Jace may have had his sharingan that let him detect movements the moment they were made, but Queen had her spiritual energy, which let her detect all movements within her Aura’s range. Unluckily for Jace, he was in range and the moment he moved his hands upwards, it was only obvious that he was going to try and form some sort of jutsu. Without even a second of hesitation, Queen reached for the sword on her lower back and grabbed it by the handle. She removed the sheathe in a quick swipe and threw it at the boy at a speed of 87. The blonde girl could have possibly thrown the sword itself, but she wasn’t trying to kill the boy… not yet anyway. He may prove to be useful in the future when the blonde’s plans were set in motion. The sheathe would spin rapidly towards the boy, centred for his hands in order to disrupt the boy from forming his hand signs. Considering this took place just as Jace had begun his actions, it should have prevented the boy from finishing his signs since Queen was moving at just a slightly slowed speed then Jace, but the projectile was moving at a much faster rate. Besides, the amount of actions it took her to launch the sheathe wasn’t as many as Jace would do.

If her attempt had succeeded, Queen would hold the blade in her left hand, and continue her kick, this time lowering the strength of it to ten. The throw would surely have left the boy open and the last thing she needed was to break the kid’s ribs. The kick surely wouldn’t do much damage besides leave a bruise, but it would knock him on his ass. Based on how she threw her sheath earlier, it would have ricochet off the boy’s body and into the air. Due to Queen’s precision, as she used Jace’s body as a trampoline, she would have caught the sheath while in the air and shielded her sword once more. It was truly and excellent display of skill shown by the up and coming Queen of the world. The blonde girl would wait a moment to see if the boy would recover from the attack, and whether or not he wanted to continue.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Tue Feb 02, 2016 1:08 am
Jace's idea was good, but it would shortly become apparent that it wasn't quite good enough. He had really underestimated the cute blonde. See, Jace had assumed that she was merely good in taijutsu. He was wrong. Sort of. She wasn't just good at taijutsu, she was good at using her surroundings to her advantage and outmaneuvering her opponent. How did he come to find this out? Well, the blonde who was about to change course and run straight at the real Jace would launch the black sheathe to the sword that Jace had given her directly at the boy's hands. With his enhanced vision Jace could clearly see it's trajectory was true. He tried to finish the seals he was making in time, but his efforts were in vain. The sheathe would interrupt Jace by hitting his hands apart just as he had finished the Ox hand seal. "Shit."

Jace wracked his brain for anything that might help him in this fight. He couldn't lose to the girl again, not when he was actually able to use ninjutsu this time. Now if he lost he truly had no excuse except to admit that the blonde was a better fighter than he was. It was no use. There was no technique in his arsenal that could save him besides the substitution jutsu and he had already been interrupted from finishing the seals for it. There was really only one thing he could do. He could clearly see the girl following the sheathe she had thrown, almost at exactly the same speed as the sheathe, aiming a kick at Jace's chest. Of course the sheathe would knock his hands away giving her a clear target. Jace grit his teeth and braced for the impact.

The instant the sheathe had made contact with Jace's hands, he would let his body become fluid like and begin to lean back in anticipation of the kick that would follow. Because of the way he was moving when the kick hit, there was less of an impact that might have been expected. Instead of knocking Jace completely on his ass, it increased Jace's momentum as he leaned backward. He would place his hands on the ground above his head and spring board off of them to land on his feet at the same time that the blonde would land on hers. (basically Jace does a backhand spring)

He pauses for a moment, sweat beginning to bead on his forehead beneath the Konoha headband he normally wore. His breathing was slow as he looked at the girl he had began to have such a large crush on. His heart beat accelerated from a slow monotonous rhythm to that of hummingbird's, though whether from excitement from the battle or the sight of Queen he wasn't sure. He was certainly being pushed to his limit. It was unfortunate that one of the few areas of the ninja arts he was good at seemed to be useless against his would be opponent. "You're even better than you demonstrated the other day. Er..I do have a question though. Why didn't my genjutsu work on you?" That was probably what Jace was the most curious about. He knew he had performed the technique correctly. The only ones who should be able to see through it the way that she did were those capable of using the sharingan. He had to find out what had happened.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Wed Feb 03, 2016 8:58 pm
Ita watched his friend Jace get beat up by a girl contently. The girl was very good at taijutsu. Ita didn’t judge her because she was a girl. A lot of things were strange in the shinobi world, and a girl possessing more powerful than a male wasn’t one of them. Ita watched with his keen eye sight the girl about to launch the sheath to the sword that Jace had given her at him. Ita figured about now that Jace was probably regretting his gift. Ita’s eyes picked up the motion that Jace was going to use the substitution jutsu, but would he be able to in time? No. The girl’s fluid motion would disrupt Jace’s hand signs and we would be forced to take the blow. However, Jace reacted in such a way that it appeared that her attack didn’t quiet just hurt him, but gave him momentum allowing him to handspring away. He then saw Jace asking the girl something, but Ita was too far away to hear. Ita simply leaned down from the tree and sat on the soft, grassy ground and crossed his legs. Ita was meditating and allowing his chakra to flow through his body working on chakra control as he watched the two before him.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Thu Feb 04, 2016 10:50 pm
Queen detected Jace’s body becoming loose in nature, as the boy slowly leaned back in order to brace the impact that was coming his way. The girl could have increased the power of her kick in order to get more out of it, but there was no need to put him down six feet under in front of his friend who was just watching from the distance. The girl’s foot made contact with the boy’s chest, his body continuously moving back as he began to lean back. Before it was too late, Queen lightly pushed herself off of his body in order to perform her mid air flip and catch the falling sheath. She landed on her feet, one leg kneeled down as she covered up the naked blade once more.

She got up from her kneeled position before placing the blade back on her lower back. Looking at Jace, she quickly took notice of the sweat gathering on his face while her’s was drier than a straight woman’s punani in a club full of lesbians. The boy should really work on his cardio if he was already begin to tire out. “Is that all you got?” She asked before the boy would have begun to speak. Queen was rather disappointed really. Here she thought Jace would have been skilled in the arts of jutsu, yet he couldn’t even stop her at half of her true potential. There had to be something else to the boy, or else he was nothing but a pretty face. A pretty face that Queen wanted to touch and feel, let the smooth skin thrill her fingers and send electric pulses through her body before she’d pull him close, oh so very close and…

"You're even better than you demonstrated the other day. Er..I do have a question though. Why didn't my genjutsu work on you?”
The boy’s words snapped Queen out of her apparent fanfic daze. She blinked twice before the words had finally registered through her mind. Well obviously she was better, and she would only continue to do so. Besides, she still wasn’t showing him her true capabilities. Just wait until she showed her true strength. The boy’s next remark confused the girl quite a bit. Genjutsu? What genjutsu? The boy hadn’t used any jutsu besides the one that he tried to use and then failed thank’s to Queen’s prowess. When did he have time to use a Genjutsu?

Either way, t’was is true, Genjutsu had no effect on the girl. She didn’t know everything there was to know about it due to her father never granting her knowledge on their bloodline. Though, what she did know after the many year since she started her training was that she had no active chakra system. Due to the system being dormant, there were certain jutsu that had no effect on her. One of those was Genjutsu. This was do to the fact that Genjutsu took control over the target’s chakra in order to control their senses. Since Queen had no ounce of chakra, there was nothing to to control. A similar concept explained why other techniques that targeted her chakra would not work either.

Rei eyed the boy who was watching for a distance before returning his lilac gaze back onto Jace. She considered telling the boy the truth, but the truth could lead to others discovering one of the girl’s greatest advantages, and that was something she could not risk. Not with her current plan. Maybe she could tell Jace one day, when she had to boy’s utmost trust and companionship. When they sealed the knot, when they put the turkey in the oven, when you… well you get the point don’t you? Maybe it wouldn’t take that long, but either way it was too soon. She couldn’t risk the information getting out, especially once she was on her own and being hunted, and even more so when she sought to bring all the countries together with her as their Queen.

“What Genjutsu?”
Queen asked ignorantly, trying to avoid giving him an honest answer. “Maybe you just didn’t do it correctly.” she suggested innocently as her right hand reached for her ponytail, bringing it over her right shoulder. “So, are we going to continue, or are you giving up already?” She asked affirmatively.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Mon Feb 08, 2016 10:52 pm
Not only had his genjutsu had no effect on the blonde, but it seemed that she wasn't even aware he had cast it. How was that even possible? Jace knew that the girl didn't see through the genjutsu from her response. Besides, Jace only knew of that being possible for those who possessed the sharingan. She hadn't released the genjutsu either because that would have required her to know one was being used on her and perform the genjutsu release technique. On top of that, the blonde had suggested that perhaps Jace hadn't performed the technique correctly. He knew that wasn't possible either. He had spent hours upon hours practicing this genjutsu to be able to perform it perfectly and use it in battle. There was something else. Something that he couldn't quite put his finger on about the girl.

His train of thought was broken by the girl fixing her ponytail over her shoulder. Jace thought it was kind of cute. Then she had asked him if they were going to continue or if he was giving up already. Of course he wasn't giving up. It was one thing for the girl to beat him when it came to taijutsu, which was her specialty and Jace was not very good at, but in combat where ninjutsu was allowed he should be doing much better than he currently was. He couldn't let this girl show him up the way she seemed to be doing so effortlessly. "Let's continue." he said with his confident smile returning to his face. In the same instant he had begun his sentence, Jace would perform a series of three hand seals as fast as was possible for him. Rat-Boar-Tiger. When the Tiger seal was completed, a flock of 25 average size crows would appear within 10 meters of Jace. The instant they were summoned, two things happened simultaneously.

The first thing that happened was the crows flying to swarm around Queen, covering every direction around her within 5 meters of her except below for obvious reasons, and adequately blocking Jace from her view. The girl was only 5 meters in front of Jace at this point and the crows were flying at 40 speed. Of course the downside to this was that Jace could no longer see Queen either. Though for what he was planning he didn't exactly need to.

The second thing that was happening, was that as soon as the crows had been summoned Jace would perform another 2 hand seals at the same speed he had performed the first series. Horse-Tiger. This time, when the Tiger seal was finished Jace would spew forth a large 2 meter diameter fireball aimed at the cute blonde now being surrounded by crows. The fireball would be moving at 40 speed with 40 power. He had decided that the girl was stronger than he had anticipated and he wanted to see just how strong, so he wouldn't be holding back on this attack. He was better at genjutsu than ninjutsu, but since it seemed genjutsu wouldn't work on the girl he had to make due with other tactics.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Wed Feb 10, 2016 9:57 pm
Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, whatever. Ita was too busy staring off into the distance to care what they were talking about. It was probably because they had stopped fighting and started conversing. Jace was getting his butt kicked and Ita tried to ignore what was happening for his awkward friends sake. Ita’s mind was wondering. When would he become a Chuunin? Ita did not know the answer to that question, but he hopped it would be soon. His current situation seemed a bit grim considering his previous teams. Ita wondered if Jace and the blonde girl would be up to the test? Maybe it was too soon. What did catch Ita’s eye was the sword Jace had given her. Ita wanted one of his own. Ita put his hands in his pockets and pulled out some ryo. It wasn’t much. ITa needed to go on some more missions to get his funds up. The boys mind continued to wander as he began focusing his attention on his friends fight, wondering how she was going to dodge this one.

Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Queen and the Crow, Part 1. [P, NK]

Wed Feb 17, 2016 7:15 pm
Just as she thought, she knew the boy would’t give up so easily, or at least she was hoping he wouldn’t. It was glad to see that he wasn’t just a quitter. Seeing that confident smile creep upon his face wasn’t too bad either, as it caused the girl’s face to redden a bit until Jace began to from his hand seals. Queen, being the polite woman that she is, let the boy actually do an attack for once seeing as she could have possibly prevented him once more. Though, what came next she wasn’t quite expecting.

Black crows seemed to surround Jace’s immediate area as they all flocked towards queen and began to dance around her in an attempt to block her view from Jace. As they charged at her, the girl pulled out her blade, ready to cut one of the bird’s open if it got too close. For the most part though, they kept their distance. While they did disturb her vision, there weren’t enough birds to fully cover the girl’s views from Jace, and it was clear to her that he was forming another jutsu. The jutsu was formed rather quickly and was launched shortly after the birds began to surround her.

It was a fire, a flaming ball of fire at that, coming straight towards the girl who was five meters away. While the girl could have easily cut her way through the birds that circled her and dodged the attack, she thought she would showcase her skills a little further than just evading. Moving at her max speed, Queen place her palm out to face Jace while tapping it with the one that held her sword before forming an odd looking hand sign that caused a large amount of pressurized air to form before being shot at Jace at a speed of 60 and power of 40. The blast tore through four of the birds the pulverized into nothing but feathers before making it’s way towards the fireball. Due to having the same power, the two would initially collide and take each other out, but there was a twist. The technique Queen used had a secondary blast that came shortly after the two colliding, causing an explosion of force to head towards jace at a power of 40 that spread for another 25 meters. Not realizing the explosive power the technique had when she performed it (since it was her first time after all), Queen’s hear stopped momentarily as she wasn’t sure what the fate of the boy was. She slightly begin to panic as the blast began to settle down.
