Patrolling the Temple [P]

Tapping her index finger against the tree trunk, Ayumi bit her lower lip as she sat and not do anything because life isn't always exciting.


Feeling the heat of the fire which exited her mouth, Yuri was frozen in place. Watching the fire spread and dominate the area, destroying everything in its stead, Yuto kept watch as he signalled Rin to pay attention to her surroundings. Looking to the front of the battlefield, the male saw Kotsuzui launch himself into the air as he clapped his hand together. Watching with skepticism, he was wondering whether the boy had anything up his sleeve. it could have just been a trick used as a distraction. Despite the skepticism, his gut feeling directed the male to stay focused.

A split second into watching Kotsuzui doing whatever he was doing, Yuto realized a change in his surrounding as the fire which came out of Yuri's mouth started to make its way towards the trio of missing ninja. What.. the male thought to himself as he started to back away from Yuri. This wasn't supposed to happen. Looking at Yuri's bewildered face, Yuto bumped into Rin who had made her way closer to him. Clutching his shirt, the girl was obviously startled by the sudden fire which enclosed them. 

Genjutsu. A genjutsu. 

Looking around, a heartbeat passed before Yuto closed his eyes and performed a tiger seal, breaking the genjutsu they were under. Looking up towards Kotsuzui, Yuto noticed a ripple in the air that was headed towards the trio. Grabbing her by the waist, the male pulled Yuri towards him but found that she was being pulled away from him. Looking up, he saw some random girl pulled Yuri using what seemed to be her spine. Ew gross. Deciding that Yuri could care for herself, the boy lugged Rin on his left shoulder, taking a few steps to prepare himself. In actuality it was too late to prepare a counterattack or anything of the like; before he was able to body flicker away from the scene, the air pressure (or whatever it was, he wasn't quite sure himself) arrived to its destination and blew him away (ba dum tss. I'm sorry, it's lame, I blame Kirino). It should be noted that although they didn't get fully hit by the initial blow, the explosion which came after was unexpected. 

The jutsu exploded as Yuto tightened his grip around Rin before flinging her to safety towards some random tree and bushes. The young girl flew across the battlefield as the force of the explosion drove her further away from their enemy as she took shelter from the debris which got effected by the jutsu. Yuto on the other hand, had launched himself up to a nearby tree and out of the range of the explosion. Apparently the red head enemy was able to escape the fire stream. The boy huffed before he scanned the area as his eyes caught sight of a girl who pulled Yuri and who he assumed arrived during the chaos that just happened. Well by then, Yuri had been kicked to the curb. Rude.

Hold up. Pause. Now let's rewind to the part when Yuri got pulled away by Kirino.

Well, you see, Yuri tried to struggle out of the spine's grip, but was unsuccessful. Darn you, spine.

Trying to struggle out of the spine that was wrapped around her, Yuri winced out of pain as the vertebral column pierced into her skin with each movement thus forcing her sit still. As Kirino pulled Yuri towards, the girl prepared an attack. Given her position, Yuri racked her brains for a way to get out of the mess she was in. Preparing for the attack that was about to hit her, the girl turned her face away. Feeling the bone-crushing punch through his lower face, she cursed the heavens, as the pain shot up and filled her lower face and broke her jaw. RiP Yuri's pretty face.

Knocked over to the ground, the girl huffed before a powerful kick by little Kirino sent her sailing. Landing on the ground about 5 meters away from Kirino, Yuri wrapped her right arm across the front of her body. Slightly alarmed by the impact of the attacks delivered towards Yuri, Yuto turned his body towards Kirino. Pulling out his kunai, the boy positioned it beside his thigh so that he is able to easily stab the girl in time with his next trick. Taking a step back, a mannerism of his, Yuto body flickered towards Kirino at a speed of 150. Whether or not the kunai were to dive into its target, Yuto would use the moment (once he came to a halt) to throw a punch with all his strength towards Kirino's pretty face before he head towards Yuri and grabbed her by the waist. Scampering away from the area and coming to a full stop 30 meters away from Kirino, the boy signalled Rin (who was hiding behind a tree) to join the duo. A split second passed before Yuto performed the Mystical Palm Technique to mend Yuri's face and broken rib. At the same time, Rin started to prepare an attack. Once Yuto was done mending whatever needed to be fixed, Yuri started to weave a set of handseals preparing an attack.

Kotsuzui landed back onto the ground realizing it was completely scorched by the massive fire jutsu the enemy had used. "Good thing I got out of the way" Kotsuzui said to himself as he looked ahead of him to see what had happened to the three shinobi.  Unfortunately, he hadn't gotten the results he was expecting. Only one of them had gotten hit by his massive jutsu and managed to survive. He even saved one of the others in the process. Kotsuzui could not help but begin smiling as he watched Yuto. From what Kotsuzui could see, he seemed to be the strongest of the three and it got the Kaguya's blood boiling. Enough to get Kotsuzui chuckling to himself from being overly excited. The third shinobi on the on hand had pretty much been dealt with by Kirino. Although she may not be dead, Kotsuzui knew Kirino packed a heavy punch. If Yuri managed to survive Kirino's attack, she wasn't coming out unscathed. 

Kotsuzui noticed Yuto, the only one he was concerned with right now, turn his attention to Kirino. "I don't think so" Kotsuzui muttered under his breath as he bent his knees and shifted his legs. Yuto made his move as he moved at Kirino at top speed, but that wasn't going to hinder Kotsuzui. Just as he reached Kirino (whether he hit her or not) Kotsuzui dashed towards Yuto with a Lariat smashing his entire left arm into the side of Yuto with enough strength to either break a few ribs or break his arm (depending on if the arm was down protecting the ribs or not). Kotsuzui hit the shinobi with enough strength to knock him down onto the floor before he could go back and retrieve Yuri. 

Seconds after, Kotsuzui stopped his foot down onto Yuto in an attempt to pin him down. Hopefully from the agony of just being hit by Lariat and Kotsuzui's superior strength, Yuto would be unable to break free. "Doesn't look like that one is going anywhere" Kotsuzui would say to Kirino referring to Yuri. "Why don't you tie this one up. In the meantime I'll go get Ayumi-sensei, see how we should proceed with these guys." Assuming nothing went wrong and Kirino managed to tie up Yuto with her spine, Kotsuzui felt confident enough that he could go get Ayumi because two of the three shinobi would be seriously injured. So on that note Kotsuzui would leave to retrieve Ayumi and head back here as quick as possible, even staying back to protect the temple in her leave if need be. If resistance was shown by the three shinobi, he'd refrain from leaving to fight back.

With the pinpoint accuracy that his Sharingan allowed, Kisuke watched the as one of the enemies threw his ally out of the way and took Kotsuzui's attack head on. The pressure rushing mere meters from Kisuke viciously whipped and his hair and clothes, his crimson eyes piercing through the night sky as he watched the destruction of his teammate's Taijutsu. Yuto's actions were admirable, saving Rin by throwing her out of harms way. However that also separated her from the rest of the pack. As aftermath explosion of Kotsuzui's justu took place, tearing trees apart and sending chunks of bark and dirt flying everywhere Kisuke was able to meticulously watch the path Rin took while she soared through the air and landed behind a tree. Sending his chakra forth into the ground bellow him, Kisuke would kneel down on all fours as he simultaneously sunk into the ground. Disappearing from everyone's attention while Yuto turned his attention to Kirino, Yuri cried over her mangled face and Rin his behind a tree, no one would even notice Kisuke slid into the ground.

Moving through the ground unaware to everyone yet aware of everything within a 50 meter range the Uchiha burrowed his way right to where Rin was hiding. Getting to her location long before Yuto attempted to rescue Yuri and then single Rin, Rin would probably remain where she was. However if she for some reason did move Kisuke would simply follow her. Once reaching her location Kisuke would instantly reach out with both his hands at a surprisingly fast speed. Latching onto Rin's ankles Kisuke would pull downwards, dragging her into the dirt up to her chin. 

Once that happened, Kisuke would emerge from the ground a couple of meters in front of Rin. Once fully emerged, glaring down at her with his menacing 3 tomoe Sharingan would say "Stay down bitch."

113 - 1(Sharingan) - 20(Hiding Like a Mole) -10(Head Hunter Technique) = 82

Hiding like a mole says I can launch a surprise attack at my reaction time if I read properly. 
Reaction time is 120 speed +60 +50(sharingan) = 230. Pulled Rin at speed of 230 and strength of 30.

With Yuto’s kunai sailing towards Kirino’s face through a slash, Kirino raised her spine to meet the blade. (speed 135, sharpness 135.) This would likely cut into or even break the kunai. As for the punch well Kirino would just let that thing fly, as the fist crashed into her face the male was likely the one to have been hurt. (Health 90). ”Did you think that would…” If the male hadn’t dodged Kotsuzui’s attack his body would go flying to Kirino’s left. ”Work?”

If the ninja somehow managed to avoid Kotsuzui’s attack Kirino would lash out with her spine and grip Yuto’s left arm and would drag him back to her, before he reached that five meter distance. (This’ll happen if Kotsuzui hits or misses.) ”Lets see how pretty that blood is.” She would say calmly while smiling into her trapped opponents eyes, before stomping onto the boy’s arm right above her spine whip (speed 100) and pulling quickly to make the spine act as a saw and sever the ninja’s limb from his body.


”Gorgeous.” She would say as the blood sprayed from the limb, whether or not the opponent was screaming was irrelevant as she continued to smile. "Sure, leave it to me cousin. I'll try not to hurt them anymore, as long as they don't resist and stay put."

Ayumi sat up and craned her neck, scanning the area. It was time to leave to her post and join in the fun or whatever was happening out there. Yes, it was irresponsible to leave, but in such situation, the kunoichi could not help but feel worried for the safety of her teammates. After all, they were her responsibility.


At this point, the trio needed to hurry up and defeat their opponents. It was getting late.

Anyway, it seemed as if their opponent's teamwork was a lot better then he has expected. Or maybe they were just a lot faster... yeah, maybe it was the latter. Punching Kirino with determination in his eyes, the male continued to run as he tried to grab his beloved Yuri, but to no avail as Kotsuzui's arm came in contact with his ribs. As the Kaguya drove his arm towards Yuto, the latter cursed as pain shot up his upper body, his ribs slowly breaking due to the impact of the attack. Doubling over, the force of the impact left Yuto flying past Kirino and landing on his knees, just shy a couple meters away from the female. It hurt. A lot. As if that wasn't enough, Kirino decided to whip out her spine weapon thing, which wrapped itself around Yuto's left arm. Dragging the boy towards her, Kirino proceeded to sever the boy's arm. Ouch; details of the scene shall be spared. Glancing towards Yuto one last time, Yuri's body went limp. Clearly, she wasn't able to handle the force of Kirino's spine whip thing.

During the whole mayhem, none of the missing ninja trio noticed the fact that the ground suddenly ate Kisuke up. Great. It didn't take long for a scream to pierce the night air as the youngest of the trio was pulled into the ground underneath her. Well, apparently Kisuke was able to travel underneath the ground or whatever. Trying to struggle of the grasp of the earth, the young female let out a grunt before giving up. There was no point in struggling, so why bother?

Was this the end to the bandit of missing ninja? I think not. It was apparent that the scream which Rin had let out has alerted the leader of the group: a B-rank shinobi. Making his appearance, the man stood 10 meters away from his opponents. Scanning the scene for a split second, he raised his right eyebrow before circling his neck.

Rin is stuck in the ground. Yuto and Yuri are both done for. Great.

Forming a tiger seal, a thick sheet of mist soon flooded the scene which quickly formed a 50 meter radius at 160 speed around the man. Following this action, the man would suppress his chakra to the point where it would be undetectable to the naked eye or any kind of doujutsu.

When Kotsuzui left his two teammates to head back to the temple and get his sensei, he was expecting her to have been there. Unless she was really good at hiding, she was gone. "Did she already leave to come help us?" Kotsuzuis said to himself as he began scratching the back of his head. Looking around the temple to see where Ayumi-sensei had gone, his eyes opened wide as he was hit with a sudden realization. He had inadvertently drawn guard duty since Ayumi-hadn't been there. Just his luck. He tries to do something good and will probably miss out on fighting the strongest one out of them. Great.


With his chakra suppressed down to null and the mist being so thick you could hardly see your own finger if it were right in front of you, Sho began plotting out his next move. He began simple, sensing out the chakra of the three in front of him. One of them had already taken off, being to far to be of any concern right now. But a third one was coming and would arrive just in time for him to make a move. The new comer had the most noticeable chakra, being both the highest and most potent chakra. The other two were nothing to break a sweat over. One's chakra levels were dwindling and the other's was average. To think that the other three had been defeated by these two, including the one who ran away. He felt ashamed to be leading those three. It was time to end this here and now.  

Being completely undetectable with the help of his mist and the lowering of his chakra, Sho decided the best course of action was to take out the biggest threat while he could. Pulling out a single kunai, the man silently but quickly made his way through the mist like a deadly assassin. Not making a single sound, as light as a feather, Sho quickly found himself behind the new comer Ayumi. Like the grim reaper he was, Sho proceed to sticking the kunai in the back of Ayumi's neck severing her spine from her brain and taking her out. Next he would do the same to the closest one, being Kisuke. Lastly would be Kirino. Each one the assassin would stab the kunai into the back of their necks to severe their spinal cord from their heads.

[ooc: I guess since this is kind of like the second post for the missing-nin, you can timeline your posts to sho activating hidden mist and before he moves in with his kunai. I just didn't want to skip him since I'll be assuming the role of the NPC now]

Leaving the kunoichi stuck in the ground, Kisuke would turn around and head back towards were Kirino was standing. "Where's he run off to now?" Kisuke mumbled as he watched Kotsuzui running off in the direction of the temple they were guarding. Figuring he was going to get Ayumi sensei, the Uchiha would continue towards Kirino, closed the distance between them to a few meters. Thats when his Sharingan caught the site of the mist. Swiftly shifting his crimson eyes over towards the forest, his Sharingan watched the blob of chakra that was the mist making its way towards the two Genin. "Oh shit." Was all Kisuke could say, frowning while the mist consumed him. His eyes darting in every direction the young Uchiha frowned in anger, not being able to see anything. The mist was too thick to see 2 feet in front of him and the mist was also a wall of chakra therefore he was now unable to see the difference between the blob that was Kirino's chakra and the mist. His Sharingan's chakra detection was now completely useless. 

"Kirinio, can you sense anyone?" Whether she was able to sense chakra signatures or not it would amount to nothing for the attacker was hiding his signature. It couldnt have been any of the 3 they had just fought, it had to be someone else, someone new. Perhaps their leader. Still trying to see through the thick mist that appeared to his eyes as a blue blanket of chakra, Kisuke swiftly ran idea's through his head as what he could possible do. He couldnt see anything and therefore could not detect anything, also the attacker was probably highly skilled, able to move around without making the slightest of sounds.

It then hit Kisuke, that caster probably wasnt able to see through this mist either. He was probably detecting the chakra signatures of the three to maneuver his way through his own jutsu. Getting down onto one knee, Kisuke would slap his hands together and then slap his palms onto the cold wet grass. With that, the ground around Kirino and Kisuke would slowly begin to descend, descending 10 meters bellow the level of the ground. The amount of chakra used to shift the ground was the exact same as the amount of chakra in the mist surrounding the area therefore would go undetected. Now that the ground had descended, the enemy not being able to see the terrain around him would have to fall into the 5 meter whole Kisuke created which would then hopefully alert Kirino and Kisuke to his arrival.

82 - 1(Sharingan) -10(Moving Earth Core) = 71ap

Instantaneously suppressing her chakra, Ayumi traveled to the venue where all of the exciting stuff was happening. Sitting by the temple was boring and induced her paranoia regarding the safety of her teammates, but it was mostly boring. Of course, to spark up her dull night, she decided to ditch her post and head over to her teammates, a decision which may have affected the group negatively, but it was a risk she was willing to take. 

Upon arrival to the venue, the kunoichi stopped in her tracks 60 meters away from Sho as her eyes scanned the situation, looking for any familiar figures. A split second passed before her eyes caught sight of bright, red hair. Just as she was about to make her way towards the male, the young girl came to a halt as the night air thickened followed by an unusual dense haze; there seemed to be a thick, blanket of mist covering the forested area, obstructing the vision of those trapped within it. Instinctively taking a step back, Ayumi was safe from the grasp of the mist, which stretched its arms in an attempt to envelop the girl within its embrace. Turning to look at Kisuke, she saw him slipped out of her sight, which triggered an alarm within her. Clenching her fist, the girl took another step back. It was too dangerous to wander within the mist. Slipping behind a tree, the girl continued to suppress her chakra while keeping an eye on the situation.

Kotsuzui sat down where he was placing his back against one of the many pillars. One had behind his head to relax, he'd create another bone sword from his other hand to keep himself occupied. As he sat there he twirled the blade in between his fingers, praying something would break his boredom. 


Sho spotted the female shinobi as she arrived to aid the other two though went his mist went up she was out of sight. Her chakra was also suppressed which led Sho to believe she was likely the leader of the group, being the only one to suppress their chakra. But he too could no be detected at the moment by her and the other two were sitting ducks just waiting to be taken out. So he began his move, snaking his way towards Kirino and Kisuke before coming to a stop when he detected the surge of chakra come from one of them. Even with the chakra in the mist being the same  amount as that used for Kisuke's jutsu, it was two different chakra signatures. One was his own, the other belonged to the Uchiha, easy to distinguish. Still being able to detect the chakra of the two Genin, Sho now knew that they had descended into the ground and that it probably wasn't hiding like a mole considering only one of the chakra signatures flared and not both. They must have simply descended the ground itself.


Slowly approaching their location, Sho took every step lightly till he reached a spot where his foot no longer touched ground and he was now directly above the two chakra signatures. He still had the cover of the mist and he knew going down there to reveal himself would not be wise.  He could easily use a jutsu to take the both of them out, but he did not want their leader to detect his chakra once used. So he was going to stick with the easy way and take them out from long ranged. Pulling out a second kunai, Sho would whipped both of them down into the pit. Each one aimed at the two chakra signatures he was detecting. Considering he did not have an exact image of the two, he simply threw each kunai at the general mass he was detecting. As a result the kunai would probably land anywhere on the upper torso of both, assuming it made contact. Sho would follow up by simply kneeling down waiting to see what followed. If his assassination attempt had proven futile, he would stop playing games and end this quickly.
