The New Rising Star (OPEN)

The New Rising Star:
Zeo's time in Hoshigakure was indeed a new change from the life he knew. Though it had been a while since he arrived, it still was a new concept for him to accept. Most of his life he never considered himself worthy to be called a shinobi. His family had been fishermen and craftsmen. The most Jutsu Zeo ever saw from his own parents were at most walking on water or using water style to water nearby crops. His life before that night... was simple. Even so, he never saw ninjutsu the way he did now. That was the price growing up in a smaller nation.
Enrolling at the academy, becoming a ninja, was an outlet for his grief. A way to channel his lost emotions into something productive. With it, it opened a new door for him in life to now be a part of Hoshigakure, a place that offered him a new home when he was lost. He didn't even realize how his testamentary knowledge of chakra gave him a small edge in the academy. His chakra control was far better than others-- probably from the examples, he saw his parents use. But now he was a Genin and now he had to learn new skills and use them to better the village he now served in.
What time he wasn't on small-scale missions, he was in the academy, studying what he could about Jutsu and known history of the land itself. Being a book worm by nature, he rarely did things like socialize or take it easy. The only time he ever did was when he returned to the dorms that were offered to shinobi, either orphaned or transfer students. He kept to himself for the time being... not even interacting with his other academy members. He had yet to be put on a permanent squad either, partially due to his talents being somewhat mixed.
Zeo now walked along the streets of the village square. He was going to buy some supplies for future missions, as well as some new Jutsu scrolls for him to study. There was so much for him to learn about Hoshikagure and the land of HAVEN. Even more so, he would be soon placed into a squad and have to work with the other shinobi. It was only a matter of time. He cooperated with the groups in the academy but didn't really connect with them as the instructors encouraged. He needed to branch out more.
He was an outsider. It was very difficult for anyone like that to fit in.

The sky couldn't be more beautiful. The young hyuuga would be away from home going about his business for the day. As a young shinobi, his only business would be training, at least for today , taking on missions and other related stuff. Those who have chosen this path makes a living off it, most dedicate themselves to it like their lives depends on it. Sakuragi was not an exception, he had no other means to survive other than taking on missions to get some money to live life. For most people, money makes the world go around, money answers everyman's prayer, money is needed by all.
The white eyed would be dressed his usual black opened button khaki shirt, white v neck shirt which he wore underneath, black pant and black shinobi sandals. Those were his favourite wears on days like this. He would not forget to have bandages on his right arm and right leg, as they were his usual accessories to complete his looks.
The brown skin Hyuuga would walk the street of Hoshi, he had no clear plan for the day, but he knew it wouldn't be best for him to stay at home doing nothing. He probably would go into the forest to train alone or if luck was on his side he could meet with a member or some of the members of Team Summer. It would be hard to meet with any of his teammates since they had no clear plan to meet today. The white eyed believed he would be able to figure out exactly what to day for the day by the time he walked a considerable distance.
The street would always be the street, you can easily tell you're in the street with your eyes closed. The echo of voices, the disturbing waves of restlessness, the rattling legs of little kids running up and down, the gossip of the crowd and a lot more. Those would tip you off. Well, Sakuragi had his eyes wide opened and would walk the street's path, the same path where a young fellow would walk. However, they would be coming from a different direction. They were still far away from each other but perhaps the other guy would notice Sakuragi first. The hyuuga would not be paying much attention to his surroundings so he wouldn't even notice the approaching figure amidst the crowd. The crowd was not much crowd, just few people littered across the street. His mind would still be pondering on what to use the day for. It seems he would have to result into training but only time will tell. If he walk past the streets without making up his mind on something, he would result into training, that's the best thing to do in boring times like this.

Zeo had gathered what he could, from food to also supplies to help him. Including a Jutsu encyclopedia to help him learn new Jutsu. While he was in the academy, he did learn the basics. Transformation, Surface Walking, and Chakra control. That was the biggest thing he was good at. His sense of chakra control was far stronger than others, allowing him access to master more complicated Jutsu. Still, he had to learn them to better understand how to put them to use. He also bought some scrolls to help learn more. He had many avenues he wanted to try and learn. Still it would take some time.
Walking through the square, he found a large water fountain as a rest area, surrounded by benches, plants and other pleasant artworks that brightened up the city. Even in River Country, he rarely saw any cities. The closest thing he ever went to with his family was the trading villages, which were pretty big by standards. To go to living in a city was hard for him to grasp.
Tired, he went right to the edge of the water fountain and sat on the rim, despite the availability of seats around. He loved to be near the water. It felt cool against him, even as the streams moved behind him, the mists of it soothing him. It was difficult for him to adjust to such a big city, especially a village of ninjas. As he sat there, he couldn't help but reminisce of his past and how much had changed.
He still was no closer to figuring out why his parents or village were attacked and why. he should have been angry-- wanting revenge or payback against the people who took them away from him. Still, he had nothing to go on-- and his emotions on it felt... empty. Perhaps it was difficult to place hate to something that didn't have a face or identity. All he saw that night was shadows, fire, and the river as he fell. He still had the scroll his mother gave him, sealed and unwilling to open.
Zeo took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair. He tried to clear his thoughts. He was good at meditation and clearing his mind. Still, the fact he knew so little made his mind run a mile a minute. It was impossible to hide the sense of loss and silent turmoil his eyes showed if someone saw him. For the time being, he tried to clear his mind and allow himself to not feel the pain. He had to become stronger, both as a shinobi and in his heart, if he wanted to survive...

The hyuuga was surely not mindful of his environment until he saw a figure that would single himself out of the street and would walk toward the water fountain. Luckily for the Hyuuga , he wasn't far from the path to the fountain himself . He would wonder what a young lad would go to the fountain to do at this time of the day. Was he going there to train or to just enjoy the beautiful nature's view? The white head could not tell but time would will reveal the truth as he fixed his gaze on the boy who would be walking towards the water fountain. It was most likely that the boy wouldn't notice that anyone had eyes on him or he could think it was a normal thing to be in the all eyes on mode while he walked down the street. This might be the partner the hyuuga would train with it for the day if all things goes well. He had been trying to figure out how to spend his day but hasn't reached a conclusion yet. He might actually result into training with the presence of the figure walking towards the river. The zeal to approach the boy rose up as he watched the young boy took a seat at the edge of the fountain, not the normal seat. The hyuuga would approach the sitting figure from behind. He could only hope that the figure wouldn't be annoyed at his presence here. He could not tell what he was up to here, but sitting all alone here means he either needed some time alone or he just wanted to mediate or just wanted to stay away from people. A proper meditation requires a cool and quiet atmosphere, free from every restlessness and disturbance of the mind. If Sakuragi would show up here uninvited then he sure would disturb the boy's meditation.
Once Sakuragi reached a considerably talking distance of the boy, he would clear his throat before speaking, “Hi there” he would say to get the attention of the boy and he would hope he would not be mad at him for disrupting his quiet moment. Sakuragi wasn't the friendly type himself, he was just intrigued to see a young lad like him taking a quiet moment, very few people do that. A lot of inspiration can be gained from having these quiet moment. Sakuragi could tell because he isolates himself sometimes too and he knew how annoying it could be to his meditation disrupted by a foreigner or other disturbing factors. The hyuuga would expect the figure to at least take a look at whoever just spoke . The voice of white eyed that rang through the air was indeed a low smooth tone. No need to yell when the person you are talking to is just few inches away from you. Hopefully, these two would get along, it all depends on them.

Soma Shin woke up and was going to take the day off from doing missions. He thought about training a little today. But he wanted to go to the city square first and do some shopping or just see who is around. He got up but on his hood and shirt. He made sure to grab his headband and put it on. He still could not believe he was a shinobi. His grandfather was always so proud of him and could not wait to show him some of the family's techniques. Soma Shin could not wait for this day and could not wait to start learning his crystal techniques.
Soma Shin packed himself a lunch not knowing how long he was going to be out today. He thought about what else he might need for the day and tried to pack it. He made a shopping list but it was not a big deal if he did not get it today. He was mostly going to train and have a good time today. He might run into new shinobi or maybe some he already knew. He was hoping to meet new people. Soma Shin was a very curious kid and always had questions. He was also a very kind person always willing to help and do what was needed of him. He also had a lot of expectations for himself. He wanted to make sure to make his grandpa, his father and the rest of the Misaki clan proud.
Soma Shin grabs his pack and heads towards the city square. He is passing through the familiar city streets. He grew up around here so he knows the city pretty well because his mother would take him shopping and into the square all the time. He would go help buy groceries but today he spotted Sakuragi and decided to go say hi. “Hey Sakuragi, how is it going today? Are you picking on the other Shinobi again?” He looks and says jokingly to Sakuragi. He looks at the other shinobi who was just sitting there and says “Hi, My name is Soma Shin Misaki how are you today?” He looks at the new shinobi. Who seemed to be relaxing which sounded great to Soma Shin. He had been doing mission after mission it seemed. So to sit down with other shinobi and just talk to get to know each other and not to strategize or come up with a plan was nice.

Zeo's mind was calm but at the same time, he felt his brain buzzing with anxiety. He thought the sharp edges of those times had smoothed out, but they had not. Either so, he tried to focus and tried to calm himself. His skills as a shinobi were more akin to the mind than they were the body-- something the instructors would make painfully clear that he had to improve on. The sound of the water however soothed him. Perhaps it was cause it was always around when he was in his village. River to both sides, the place connected by a few bamboo bridges and roads that led to the bigger villages. While the past continued to return to his head-- he remembered the good things. The important things. That was what would help him find his way despite his loss...
... there was something else. A voice he thought he heard. A soft growl, but it might have just been his imagination...
"Hi there," a voice spoke to him.
A soft breath escaped him as he opened his eyes-- not frightened but one of awareness as he came out the flow of his meditative state. It probably wasn't wise to even meditate somewhere like this in public, but he didn't care too much. He turned slowly to the source, to find a young man near him, looking down from where he sat. The man seemed calm, stoic almost at first glance but a slight smile on his face to indicate his friendlier approach. He had long, black hair tied into the back. However, what made him stand out the most was the eyes he had-- a shade of white. At first, he wondered if he was blind-- but no. Zeo read about it-- the t trademark of a rare ninja clan originally from the leaf village. Famed for their powerful Doujutsu considered one of the three great Doujutsu and stemmed from the time of the Sage of Six Paths. The Byakkugan. The way he had his eyes focused on him was clear he wasn't blind.
Zeo probably was quieter than she should have been but quickly cleared his throat. "Oh, please excuse me," Zeo said, shaking his head a bit to clear his thoughts. "I didn't mean to space out. Um, hi there. Can I help you?" he asked.
Why did he say that he thought? It wasn't like he knew enough about Hoshikagure to give directions to strangers. But it was impulsive all the same. He was often a bit more polite than he should be sometimes. Still, he had no intention to be rude either. He was very curious, however, about the stranger that approached him. A member of the Hyuuga clan and in Hoshigakure of all places? He was compelled, especially since he was not from Haven anyway.
"You're... not from around here, either, aren't you?" Zeo guessed aloud. It made it pretty clear he was new to this village-- and probably the Hyuuga member would of put that together too. The jacket Zeo wore was also a give away with his clan's crest-- a Shinto Gate on the back for the Kamigawa clan... few if not little remained of it with his parents. No doubt such a clan logo or even the name wouldn't ring a bell for him. As far as Zeo knew... he had no other surviving family. "I'm Zeo Kamigawa. Nice to meet you," he responded courteously with a bow of his head, presuming he was of significant rank next to himself.
With that came another face and name. Another young man, probably a little bit older than Zeo, but he was not confident to guess mere age by appearances. He had green hair, a jacket, and a pair of goggles on his head. He looked cool and his choice of clothing seemed similar to Zeo's . Though he got a little worried when he heard the other, 'Sakuragi" was picking on him. That made Zeo glare a bit, now growing a little concerned-- if just playfully.
"Um... nice to meet you too. I'm Zeo Kamigawa. " he repeated for the other stranger named Soma. It was clear at this point he was new, so he felt he might as well say it. ""I'm new to this village. I'm from River Country."

Walking up to a stranger was not a thing he enjoys doing on a normal day. The spiky haired hyuuga would feel a relief the moment he would let out those greeting words of his. He was not an inch troubled about walking up to the stranger, it was just a relief of meeting another new face. The atmosphere was so calm that one could easily get lost in deep thought if care wasn't taken. Perhaps the same fate had befell the stranger and he got drowned in his sea of thought. The atmosphere was calm not the surrounding. The hyuuga knew what he was here for, he wouldn't allow the mystery of unanswered thoughtful question befall him right in the middle of meeting this new face since the atmosphere was very tempting.
The first new face he met with , after his return to team summer was Akaboshi, the redhead chunin was the one who trained him in the art of space and time. It was no easy task learning the art. The hyuuga used a lot of effort in learn it. This teaching on space and time was after Sakuragi miscalculated a flying kunai in their fight. Many new faces have met the hyuuga after then and the whitehead have met many new face. You never can tell what you would gain from meeting those pretty faces. The spiky haired may at least gain some moment of training with this figure, if at all he is even a shinobi. Only time would tell about that. It wouldn't make any sense if the hyuuga just bumped into the stranger and started asking if he was a shinobi or not and personal stuff. He has to trust the process.
Sakuragi is a friendly person, but there are times he wouldn't be friendly and his friendliness is dependent on a lot of factors. The hyuuga just happen to be in a good mood this morning . “...can I help you” the hyuuga would let out a smirk as the last few words of the sitting figure rang through his head. “I think you're the one who needs help. Why are you dulling yourself by sitting alone here?” . Sakuragi knew it was none of his business to meddle into people's affairs but he's gonna meddle into this.
It appears the figure was even more lost in thought at the sight his appearance. He nearly looked like he saw an angel or a ghost yet the boy standing in front of him was a brown skin hyuuga lad with spiky white head. Perhaps the words of the white head was what almost stunned him. The hyuuga would let out a smile this time as the new guy told him his name, “Nice to meet you too, I'm Sakuragi Hyuuga ” he would reply. Those who are familar with the hyuuga would know just how strong a clan they are. History has a lot to say about them and how they became a scattered clan. The uniqueness of the Hyuuga was their dojutsu combined with their unique gentle fist style. It seems to Sakuragi that Zeo hadn't met an hyuuga before, he could tell with the rather curious look on his face.
Before Sakuragi could utter another word, a familiar voice would ring through the air. It was a voice he has gotten familiar with and without looking backwards he immediately knew it was Somashin's. The hyuuga would turn his body such that his both of his side would be facing the stranger's direction and somashin's respectively, however he would turn his head to face somashin. How was he able to get that close without the hyuuga noticing?. Sakuragi knew it was solely because his dojutsu was not active. With Somashin around , this interaction may be more fun. At least, the greenhead had done two missions with the hyuuga and Sakuragi now know a bit about him. “ what's up? I'm doing fine... Not picking on anyone, just meeting this in the new face here” he would say with a bright smile shining all his 32 teeth, of course that was no longer a smile at this point.
The hyuuga would watch as Soma would greet the stranger and the stranger would greet in return. Just then did Zeo opened up, thanks to Somashin showing his badass green head here. Zeo was actually from the river country. Definitely he wasn't born in Hoshigakure. The opening up of Zeo only made the hyuuga more curious , “So are you on vacation here and are your parent here with you ?” he would ask the new guy. Hopefully this would be turn out to be a fun conversation for the three and not some interrogation session between these three.

Soma Shin looks at Zeo curiously as Sakuragi asks him why he was here. But before he could respond Soma Shin jumps in “River Country? You seem to be far from home. Well welcome to Hoshigakure let one of us know if you need anything. We will try to help you as much as we can. May I ask why are you here?” Soma Shin is nice and friendly but he does lack decorum. He seems to interject whenever he pleases but he means well. He had heard of River Country but knew nothing about it and started to wonder about a few things. Like what were the people like? What was geology like? But he wanted to find out more about this person first.
Soma Shin is a friendly person but going up to a stranger was not really a thing that he was comfortable with. Since Sakuragi was around it made it a little easier on Soma Shin. He thought about this stranger and what he might be doing just relaxing. Maybe he was not just relaxing but waiting on someone. He is a foreign shinobi. Does he have permission to be here? Should they report him to their superiors all this was secretly running through Soma’s mind. He kept a straight face and turned to Zeo and sai “sorry I did not mean to cut you off! We welcome all visitors here at Hoshigakure and in Haven Country!”

It seemed Zeo's line of thought was wrong as he quickly called out that Zeo looked to be 'needing help'. Zeo was a calm type, but at times his poker-face stunk. Smart as he was, he wasn't quick to really hide his emotions too well after the change in his life. "That is probably accurate,, " He replied to the Hyuuga ninja to his left. "I guess I am the one a bit lost. I recently graduated from the academy here, but I am not in a squad yet. Can't do anything about that till that time. ," he explained.
His name was Sakuragi Hyuuga. It was clear to him now he was a Hyuuga clan member. "I knew it... you are of the Hyuuga clan. I thought most of you lived and were affiliated to the Leaf Village?,, " he asked, but more out of innocent interest. "I guess we are both foreigners here ,. "
The second guy's entrance, Soma he was named, was a bit easier going and friendly to crack jokes. While Zeo wouldn't allow 'bullies' to get under his skin that easily, it clearly wasn't the case. However, Zeo frowned at the 'strained smile' that Sakuragi showed, clearly seeing his cheeks strain to smile that hard. "You do know you are looking like a clown MEANT to frighten children, right?" he replied dryly.
It still felt like he was kind of the odd one out though. After all, these people lived in Hoshigakure for some time now. Of course, things turned even gloomier at the request to know why he was there. Soma was sharp on the part he knew that he was very far from River Country that was far south. They hit the nail on the head as Zeo turned away to face forward, trying to keep his face stoic and calm. "Can't. My parents are dead. They died when my village was attacked. I'm pretty much a refugee now," he said neutrally. At first glance, one would say he was still traumatized by it, but in truth he just distant himself as best as he could from it. "Your shinobi found me and helped me. They offered to let me come here and the village allowed me to be here. Didn't think I would qualify to be a shinobi though..."
After the uncomfortable moment from both of them, Zeo sighed and tried to return the fact of his slump. "Anyway, I graduated from the academy, but I haven't been assigned to a squad yet. Plus, I only seen the inside of the village. I'm not really sure what to expect here. I sort of dove into my ninjutsu training... not 'popular attractions' just yet... " he replied, allowing the babble of the water fountain behind him to soothe his feelings hidden behind that neutral face.

The hyuuga would let out a smirk, of course his dojutsu was a popular one so most people knew that he was an hyuuga by merely seeing his white eyes. However , to think that Sakuragi was a foreigner in Hoshi was wrong of the boy. He was born here even though he was orphaned at child birth. Not just that, he was raised here, he joined the ninja academy here , he became a genin here , he never left the walls of the Haven country , so how could he be a foreigner in his own country . “ I'm no foreigner here, this is my hometown. I was born here. The hyuuga clan is a scattered clan and you're right, I'm an hyuuga” he would say to the real foreigner.
The boy's words would struck the hyuuga's heart when he realised Zeo was an orphaned too. The spiky haired would not tell him he was also an orphan. He believed there was no need telling him that. ”I'm sorry about your parent ” he would say neutrally to Zeo.
Then the foreigner talked about wanting a team, all the hyuuga could do was to assure him that he would soon be assigned to a team. The whitehead would turn to Somashin “ Oh look, behind you! ” he would say in a loud tone . If Somashin would look behind, the hyuuga would slap the back of his head mildly and would act like nothing happened. Somashin would have to figure out who just did that to throw his anger at. Sakuragi would keep calm not giving off any hint.
