Saya was up early for once in her life! It is important to note that early is a relative term when speaking of our tiny protagonist, but even with mammoth modifier it was a real game changer. She'd prepared a bag, and gathered everything she thought she'd need for the day before lifting Pinochio up to slide him into the top of her left side pouch. The missions for today seemed simple so far. She just needed to... plant some stuff and pull some weeds. How hard could that be right? She approached the farm quickly, head ducked to increase aerodynamics, and checked in with the farmer. Thankfully she had two separate missions all on the same farmstead. Through smart planning, she'd been able to streamline her initial tasks for the day and was happy to have blocked out a significant volume of time with which to do more enjoyable activities. I cannot wait to see how Pinochio ruins that.

"Now. Saya. This one should be a shoe in with your current training. WIth earth release you manipulate the ground beneath you to turn it into dangerous means of attack or powerful defenses. The action of manipulating the chakra, as you know, involves extension past your physical bodyand into your aural range similar to if you were working with your crown point. As the root is located beneath your feet you should be able to use that to raise the weeds right up out of the ground. " That sounded pretty good in theory. I wonder how well the konoichi would be able to utilize these techniques though. In order to target such a small area, Saya would need to mold her chakra and then pinpoint each individual weed. With focus she would suceed in that easily but concentration was not our dear protagonist's best skill. Let's watch.

"Right right. Ok. So I draw and mold the chakra and then I just have to like.... stomp the ground and they should all hop out!" She drew chakra from her heart point. It was becoming easier to push it down into her root, and she could even feel it thicken and solidify as it traveled downward. She was going to get this one done quickly. The sound of the sewing machine was already whirring in her mind.

WIth chakra turning to stone beneath her feet she lifted one and slammed it on the ground. While she wasn't particularly strong, in theory the Doton chakra should be doing all of the work. It did not. Instead she felt pain shoot up her heel. Redoubling her focus she formed more chakra. With intense focus she further hardened the chakra. Then she remembered what she'd been told previously. More wasn't the answer. This was like water prison. She would need subtlety in order to target each weed individually. Drawing a deep breath she focused. In her mind she could see each plant positioned before her. Raising up a second time she would bring her foot down on the ground and tada! IN lines each weed just kind of hopped from the ground.

WIth the first mission finished She set her focus on the much larger field. This one would take much longer. She considered her chakra reserves. There wasn't a reason to of course, She had more then a plenty. Saya had trained her chakra reserves to a massive level as she focused on learning new and interesting jutsu that would allow her to do tasks much more quickly then usual... oh and also like protect herself or whatever. She drew in a great mass of chakra. She could feel her chest swell with the sheer volume. Splitting it she created a pathway from heart to root. Heart. Solar. Sacral. root. In theory it would be easy to set the molding process to work with the natural path it flowed through the body. By focusing one aspect of the molding process into each chakra point she could hopefully allow the chakra to form itself on autopilot. That would leave her to focus on more important tasks--or more realistically what do do with the pile of lumber sitting beside the couch. I do wish that she would put more focus on what mattered. Sigh.

She brought her foot down in the first section of land Easily she called out to the earth and the weeds lifted themselves up. After an appropriately timed celebration(read several minutes of jumping up and down for no apparent reason) She moved forward to continue. The act of raising the weeds was done surprisingly quickly. It only took an hour or so with her new doton focus to call the earth itself to spit the plants out of it's depths. Unfortunately then she needed to clean them all up. she searched high and low for a wheelbarrow. SHe needed something to hold all these damn things or she'd have to take them an armful at a time. After searching for what seemed like hours, but was in fact only a few minutes she started to think of creative solutions. First she thought maybe with increased volume of doton she could just stomp them all into a pile. She could not. Next she considered expanding her horizons to just learn wind element real quickly and just used wind nature chakra to blow it all into a pile. Initial testing proved that A. she could not use wind nature chakra to blow the weeds into pile and B. she could not use wind nature chakra. Then she had another idea. It had been ages since she'd practiced this jutsu. Like two whole days, and so it had slipped her mind, but as she formed the seals the Her plan came into focus. Hare. Monkey. Ram. Dog. Boar. A great gust of water poured from her lips to rush across the field. In an instant all of the weeds were whisked off. WIth focus she turned the stream, moving about the field to ensure they all washed up in one large pile. That was it. The last part of her task was completed.
