Watching as the little mice scampered around trying to formulate even a shred of a strategy he would chuckle lightly in amusement. Seeing Ryusei running away the hair tendril heading for him would be cut off from its path towards Ryu by Tank and to simply teach him a lesson he would have the tendril ment for him whip around to his back and the tendril originally meant for Ryusei jolt towards his chest to sandwich the man between the two powerful strikes and try to cause some damage to him but hopefully not cause him to fall unconscious for he still wanted Tank to at least witness the rest of the battle. It was only moments after these actions that Ryusei was capable of tunneling his way underground using some type of jutsu, one he hadn't been paying enough attention to for him to try and discern what it was he was using. Regardless he would simply assume it was the same jutsu he had used in their previous match and the clones were no bother either as he could easily tell they were not solid simply by the amount of chakra each of them were composed of. Now focusing the majority of his attention on Kemuri, the only one who was currently of any interest to him in the bunch. Seeing how he turned into smoke once again and simply passed through his attack Kenshin would watch him as he drifted closer and closer until eventually he was only a few meters away. It was then that he would release his jutsu and place his hands at his sides seeing that continuing with the art of the raging lions mane would only lead to a stalemate as he would not be able to strike Kemuri. Leaping backwards onto another branch he would watch Kemuri closely with his sharingan to try and understand his intentions, he must know that getting into direct confrontation would lead neither of them to victory so why do it? Perhaps he was attempting to force him on the ground where Ryusei could attack him from below, a sound strategy, but not one that seemed likely as it was far to obvious. Perhaps Kemuri had decided to try and fight Kenshin on his own, a good time waster but little more and with Kenshin's sharingan he could tell that the boys chakra reserves were dropping the longer he remained in that smokey form so it was obvious he could out last him in any form of combat regardless of his strange ability. If Kemuri continued to try and press Kenshin he would simply continue moving away using the branches of trees to circle the training grounds until somebody decided to be a man and actually confront him.

Ryusei heard commotion behind him, heavy footfalls and what sounded like an impact. Tank was a little slow, perhaps he had ran into one of the hair thingies that Kenshin had grown. That would be trouble. Ryusei did not hear footsteps fleeing from Kenshin, instead it sounded like both of the others intended to charge at Kenshin. Well, it would certainly not work to move awy and formulate a plan, Ryusei would have to help them as best as he could. After digging into the ground, he turned to face everyone again. He could sense where everyone was. It seemed that Kemuri had moved quite some distance from his starting point where Ryusei had last seen him. He appeared to be chasing Kenshin while Kenshin himself backed up. Tank Akimichi on the other hand, appeared to be largely between Ryusei and Kenshin's previous spot. Wait... did that mean he had intercepted an attack meant for Ryusei? Tank Akimichi was not moving his position much, either he was stuck, or worse... Ryusei made a note to thank Tank Akimichi later.
He tunneled towards the tree Kenshin was in. He kept backing up when the presence that was most likely Kemuri kept following him. That made sense, smoke was not very fun to breath, in fact it was rather bad for you. What to do... Kemuri was obviously trying to catch Kenshin, but Ruysei did not have many jutsu at all. He tunneled to 15 meters from the tree Kenshin was on, and moving around on, and began lowering as large an area as he could, centered on the tree. When it was 10 meters sunk into the ground, or if Kenshin started to move away from the approximate location of the tree, Ryusei would rise out of the ground, pulling out a kunai in each hand. He would charge towards Kenshin and prepare to throw kunai or try to block an attack.

As Tank ran to intercept the tendril that had headed toward Ryusei he completely lost sight of the tendril heading for him as it most ly behind him. Running as fast as he could now he was several meters away from the tendriuls when he felt what he assumed to be the tendril that was after him to begin with hit him squarely in his back. The power from the strike pushed Tank forward and towards the second tendril that he was after. with his back arched and his body being pushed forward he could see the second tendril turn toward him and head straight for his chest. In an instance the tendril infront of him had smashed right into Tank's chest. A loud exhale could be heard coming from Tank as being smashed between the two tendrils forced the air out of his lungs. The strike from the front attack stopped his momentum completely and whipped his head and upper body forward like a lifeless body. Pinned between the two tendrils Tank "stood" slumped over against the two tendrils that has smashed against him. Then suddenly the tendrils dropped him and Tank dropped down onto his knees looking completely unresponsive other than the slight movement of his body breathing. Tank's eyes were blurred and he was half conscious really only focusing on trying to catch his breathe and not pass out. He could however be sure that Ryusei had gotten away because of him. As his vision began to come back he could see the ground beneath him clearly and also hear what sounded like people moving through the nearby trees that surrounded the training grounds. Tank thought to himself that maybe Kemuri was keeping Kenshin on his toes with whatever that smoke techinque was. Attemping to stand up Tank realised that he was definitely more damaged than he thought he was initially. Falling forward from his knees and onto all fours Tank's head hung low toward the ground and he inhaled deeply a few times to ready his body for his next attempt to stand up and work his way back into the spar that he could hear was still going on. As he did this he could hear a large ammount of earth moving in the nearby forest where he had previously heard movement coming from. Feeling a bit emboldened by what he could hear his "teammates" doing Tank forced himself up and onto his feet. Facing the direction that all the commotion was coming from Tank stood tall and exhaled ready to try and be a useful member of this spar and not just a training dummy to beat up on.

Kemuri would change from his smoke form back into his human form, looking at Kenshin as he were to jump into the trees. He would then notice that the tree Kenshin jumped upon would begin to sink into the ground along with a fair portion of the area around it. -Good move Ryusei- He though to himself whilst continuing to move towards Kenshin as fast as he possibly could, which was still very slow in comparison to Kenshin given his speed was over three times what Kemuri's was. If this sneak attack had been enough to give Kemuri the time he needed to approach Kenshin, he would again attempt to grab his sword from it's sheathe as he couldn't harm Kenshin in any other way, also disarming him in the process. Seeing Tank on the ground in the distance hadn't surprised him in the least given Kenshin had directed two of the tendrils toward him after Ryusei and Kemuri both left only Tank as a target. He felt as though he had forsaken Tank for doing so, but it was also best to go on the offensive in a three on one battle, especially considering Kemuri's move had stopped the tendrils from doing even more damage than would have happened otherwise. Back to thinking of the battle, Kemuri continued to float towards Kenshin somewhat quickly, hoping that he was at least a bit off balance, trying to engulf him and grasp his blade with the smoke, pulling it away and moving as far away as he possibly could, watching him as he went and being prepared to react to his movements, throwing the blade toward the ground near where Ryusei had went under, hoping that he would have a fast enough reaction to take it underground with him at least. -You had better not screw this up Ryusei- He thought, being unsure of just how strategic his two teammates were since he had only seen them in a spar once, and against one another no less.

Watching his opponent closely he would land on his final branch, the tree now sinking into the ground at a rather fast rate, but not nearly enough to surprise him as he had seen Ryusei use this technique earlier in the day. Focusing chakra into the soles of his feet he would hold himself firm to the branch to make sure he did not lose his balance initially. Still eyeing Kemuri he would quickly reach for his katana and unsheathe it before he began spinning it in his left hand at a high rate to test something, if the boy was smoke, was it not logical that wind would merely blow him away. Sadly the winds created by his spinning blade was not very powerful and at most was a gentle breeze, hopefully enough to keep Kemuri at bay as he awaited the attack of Ryusei. Seemingly on cue the boy would emerge from the ground which was parallel with the branch as the tree was lowered exactly ten meters which was also the height of the branch he was on, putting him on ground level. Seeing him coming towards him with a kunai in each hand he would quickly reach into his back pouch and grab hold of a smoke bomb which he then whipped towards the boys skull to try and strike him in the forehead (speed of 77). The smoke bomb moving so quickly that it was little more than a blur he would hope it struck the boy and erupted into large cloud of smoke right in front of his face to sting his eyes and nose and likely stop his advance on Kenshin quickly. It was after this that he would quickly leap backwards one more time to land upon yet another branch, exactly fifteen meters away from the one he was on and five meters from the ground. Stopping the spin of his blade he would sheath it once again and stare at the billow of smoke infront of him, his eyes still gazing over towards Tank as well, somebody who seemed even more determined than the others as the damage he must of took was no joke at all, likely enough to kill lesser men, luckily Kenshin knew from experience he could take a beating and he need not hold back much when beating him down. A smirk now stretching across his face he was surprised how these three were able to evade him and keep him on the defensive, regardless of if it was because he was holding back or not it still showed him each had promise if given time to flourish in power and intelligence. Deciding at this point that taking the battle into the open would be more fun he would quickly proceed to the center of the training grounds, actually hurdling Tank as he was on all fours just to irritate him if he could because he honestly found it entertaining whenever the hulk got upset with his actions. Still eyeing each one of them he would wait for them to make the first move as he did not want to end this little game too early if he could help it.

Ryusei dug through the ground. When he lowered the ground around the tree, he noticed that even though the tree was sinking into the ground, the presence that was Kenshin Uchiha was not moving... that meant he expected this move, or at the very least was not surprised. He burst out of the ground with a kunai in each hand.
He got a good look at Kenshin, who was in the act of drawing his sword. It seemed he had lowered Kenshin to be the same height as the ground, which probably made any surprise attack far less likely to succeed. He should have burst out of the edge of the hole, then he would have had a better chance at catching the Uchiha member.
Without hesitation (right after exiting the ground), he hurled one of the kunai at Kenshin's arm, the one that was not busy spinning the katana he had seen Kenshin using before. Hopefully this would be slightly more difficult for Kenshin to block. He would hold the other kunai in reserve, for if Kenshin tried to dodge that he could see. Meanwhile, Kenshin's arm blurred, and suddenly something smacked into Ryusei's forehead. Fortunately it was not anything lethal, but smoke suddenly filled the immediate area.
Gasping and choking, his eyes watering, Ryusei stumbled backwards out of the smoke cloud, courtesy of Kenshin Uchiha.
Looking around for his teammates where he had last sensed them, he saw Tank Akimichi. He did not look good at all, it looked like whatever he had blocked earlier from Ryusei had hurt. A blur that could only be Kenshin was headed for Tank Akimichi, so Ryusei ran towards them as fast as he could, tossing the kunai in one hand timed so that if Kenshin kept running towards Tank Akimichi, he would get hit by the kunai he hopefully would not see coming from behind him to one side.

Tank was currently still on his knees gathering himself when he head a decently lound popping sound. Looking up toward the direction of the sound he saw a large cloud of smoke that was good distance away. Then out of the smoke he saw Ryusei stumble out coughing and choking. As Ryusei did this Tank could now hear someone moving toward him. By the sound of how fast it was it had to be Kenshin. Curling down to protect himself as best as he could Tank prepared for whatever pain was to come. If Kenshin were to contniue onward and hurdle over Tank then Tank would hear him land on the opposites side he had come from and continue off a bit before stopping. Tank would then gather himself and stand up. Although a bit shakey Tank tried to show he was still in the spar and not ready to give up. If Ryusei's kunai were to hit or alter Kenshin's path then Tank would have to deal with whatever new actions were taken against or possibly none at all in which case he would stand up as stated before.

As he made his way towards Kenshin, Kemuri would notice that Kenshin raised his sword and begun spinning it. -How odd,- he thought, wondering how spinning a sword could possibly assist in detering him, until of course he noticed that his progress were halted entirely from the wind the spinning had created. -Interesting, it seems I've even got things to learn about my own ability-. The smoke would continue to remain still, his speed forward matching the power of the light breeze being blown at him until it stopped, Kenshin rather than continuing to spin the blade throwing a smoke bomb at Ryusei, striking him directly on the forehead which to be quite frank was entertaining to Kemuri, as was obvious from the chuckle the smoke would release, shortly afterwards turning back into a solid form and landing upon the ground. Kemuri looked over to where Kenshin were running, assuming he were about to give Tank a thorough beating from the way he was moving, being slightly surprised at him just jumping over Tank and standing in the middle of the training grounds.
"I believe he desires more of a fight from us." He would shout slightly so Tank and Ryusei could hear him, making his way over towards the Tank, whom Ryusei was already heading towards. "Have either of you a plan?" He said, looking towards Kenshin.

Watching as his spinning blade was able to keep Kemuri at bay as well as focusing intently on the others he would notice Ryusei tossing a kunai at him just before he was able to toss his own smoke bomb. Watching its trajectory very closely with his sharingan eyes he would drop his arm only three inches or so to avoid being struck by the blade and whipping his free right arm back he would grip the kunai by its hilt as it passed by him. It was then that he leaped away and sheathed his sword as planned and began moving towards Tank, still focusing intently on the other two just as he had been the entire battle to this point. It was then that Ryusei would toss his other kunai and with quick footwork he would position himself out of the path of the kunai, though if Ryusei was attempting to avert Kenshin's path he had succeeded and instead of jumping directly over Tank he would merely pass to his right and proceed to the center of the training grounds as planned. Watching as the three opponents converged and regrouped with each other he would simply wait for several seconds to try and guess what they planned to do next. It was then that Kenshin had an amazing idea rush through his head, a display of power that none of them were likely to even comprehend and he knew exactly who to display this power on, the only one who was capable of even touching him at this point in the spar. Raising his left hand he would point to Kemuri to try and get his attention as well as the others, looking somewhat at ease to try and show that for this instant he did not plan to attack them and only wished to say something before they continued. "All of you take your stance, stay aware of your surroundings and no matter what do not hesitate" he would say in a calm tone, waiting for each of them to focus intently on him. His hand that was pointed at Kemuri slowly forming a seal he would disappear from all of their vision and only Kemuri would be the first aware of his presence between all three of them, his fists being thrust into his chest to send him flying backwards if successful. It was then that he would hop slightly off of he ground and stretch his legs out and spin to try and strike both Tank and Ryusei with his heels to try and send both of them tumbling away as well. The look in his eyes now growing indifferent to the situation as he didn't care anymore if he succeeded he would simply land flat footed and look between the three of them, waiting for them to recuperate and retaliate again.

(ok, i have never used the substitution jutsu before so i will take a guess on how i can use it)
He could have sworn Kenshin dodged the first kunai but then the luckily non-lethal thing that Kenshin threw at him exploded quite literally on his face. The smoke stung his eyes and lungs. As Ryusei stumbled backwards out of the smoke, Kenshin had headed towards Tank Akimichi. The kunai that Ryusei had thrown had done little, Kenshin easily dodging it. At least he had left Tank Akimichi alone for a little bit, comign to a stop in the middle of the training grounds. While Ryusei, and Tank Akimichi were both tired, and in the latter case, noticably damaged, Kenshin looked almost entirely bored, something that irritated Ryusei a little. He did not blame the Uchiha for his feelings though, he was far stronger than all of them, separate or together as he was apparently allowing.
As he then ran towards Tank Akimichi, he hearda voice float towards him from what would now be behind him - "I believe he desires more of a fight from us."
He grumbled back "He obviously is having a rather easy time of it right now, who wouldn't. Heck, I wish I was stronger so I could give him something to actually worry about instead of being the equivalent of a mosquito!"
Upon approaching Tank Akimichi, he said "Hey dude, are you ok over there? It looks like you took quite a beating, at least partially for my sake, so thank you!"
Then he heard from Kemuri - ""Do either of you have a plan?"
Quietly, he would reply such that Kenshin Uchiha, who was 40 meters away would not hear, but the other two ninja, who were much much closer would - "Well, not really. All I can say is he is far too fast for any of us to try to catch him by ourselves I think. Our best bet would probably be to stay near each other so that we have a chance to actually help each other within a reasonable time span. Of course, this relies on Kenshin attacking us, since otherwise we are at a bit of a stalemate, if he is nice and does not use long range jutsu. To be honest, I think we have little chance though, I am getting tired and Tank has obviously taken at least a few hits."
Almost as if on cue, Kenshin Uchiha could then be heard to say "All of you take your stance, stay aware of your surroundings and no matter what do not hesitate."
Ryusei decided he would try out a jutsu he had never used yet in a real fight - the substitution jutsu. As Kenshin spoke, he drew a kunai in one hand. He held the kunai and prepared some handseals to use a jutsu with.
Suddenly Kenshin was over with them, having slowly made a seal with his hand. Kemuri was sent flying as a result before any of the hapless trio could react. Unfortunately for the 3 of them, they were fairly close together, leaving them within reach of Kenshin''s limbs without any real effort on the part of their assailant.
As Kenshin hopped into the air and aimed kicks at both Ryusei and Tank Akimichi, Ryusei would release the jutsu he had prepared, erupting into a cloud of smoke to reveal the kunai he had held earlier. He would then appear 1.5 meters behind Kenshin as he landed after trying to kick Tank Akimichi and Ryusei, hist fist cocked.
He would try to punch Kenshin's living daylights out with one blow. This may be the closest he had ever come to hitting the Uchiha the entire session he though, hopefully he would land the hit, even if Kenshin would turn out to be too tough to actually be damaged. Sometimes he wished he worked out more and tried to increase his strength like the miniature hulk Kenshin had also tried to kick, as then there would be a chance of doing some actual damage.
