Strolling through the park one day...

Kurai was relaxing on the sidewalk in front of a local park as he waited for his team mates to join him. He stared up at the storm clouds, they were pretty and the shapes they made were calming for him. He took a deep breath as he looked around realizing he was still the only person there. He was hoping no one would think he was a corpse the way he was sprawled out on the ground staring up at the sky! He wasn't moving. He was VERY still just feeling his energy run through him, it was a small meditation he learned years ago but just never practiced. He needed to put these techniques to use at some point!
Sighing he decided to sit up. Enough lying down on the job, well, technically he's off work today! The rain started drizzling down very lightly…it was misting more than raining. Maybe the rest of his team would be here later, he hadn't seen them since the day they all had the incident with the ‘Jounin Brother's and Jayden caught the forest on fire! This was proof that maybe…just maybe they needed more training.
“Like anyone could really handle us anyways…” Kurai chuckled out loud.

The Dark Shinobi of Kirigakure strode down the streets on this bleek day, while most days in the village was rather drab like this because of the weather. This day however was different rather he knew it or not, the Yuumei was silent within his mind. It only spoke now when he allowed it, and that was generally when he asked it questions. Shikami Shinkou, the Ex-Mizukage, with his now dark hair since the day he accepted the odd looking vial which seemingly altered him, only in minor ways, but enough that made him feel more powerful and ready to retake on Shiro for the Deputy Kage spot, however his ego was still damaged from that fight, he wanted to grow as a person first before rechallenging him. Shikami took a turn off the streets and into the local park, off in the distance He could see a body laying in the grass, so he would walk up to it, he saw no sign of breathing, but he could see a faint chakra signature from the man. Once he got close enough he could see a headband. When the man sat up, it was away from him, and he heard him mutter something about no one being able to handle them, at which point Shikami would clear his throat "Well Is that so? I do not see any particular reason from you as to why Anyone could not handle you, barely stronger than an Academy Student" Shikami would smirk at the man as he waited to see his reaction to his words.

Since he had been released from the hospital, Jayden had been wanting to check up on his team mates. The reason Jayden had been in the hospital was due to an accident during training ... .or so his brother Jeordie Terumi had written it off as such in the hospital report and the report he turned in to the Mizukages office!
Due to his connection to the current Mizukage, he had always been up to date on the Mizukages of the past and present. In a way he kind of had a feeling that his cousin would end up a Kage! Everyone in the family did. He knew Xyxer and all the ones that followed after him, so seeing Shikami sent a shock up his spine!
As he decided to take a short cut through the park he saw Shikami and Kurai almost face to face he held.the gasp in his throat! Anyone who knows of this former Kage knows he means business! Is this the one whom Jeordie, Taki and Zeb were talking about? The ones who the ‘Jounin Brothers’ feared? Jayden Terumi was frozen in place he couldn't move as an icy feeling filled his entire body with fear! The type of fear that makes you have respect towards someone.

Zim had woken up a little earlier than normal. Prim had already left to take care of some things so he was alone in his room.He sat up hearing a low roar of thunder outside. He began to think it was time to see his team mates because he hadn't seen them since that day that they had training with their older siblings, the day Jayden was injured by his own flesh and blood! Good thing Zims older sibling Zeb isn't like that.

Zim got dressed and headed out to see if he cotfind his team mates, it had been a few days since the event. He walked to the local store and got a drink and decided to take a shortcut through the park and his eyes ended up catching a scene that made his blood run cold! Zim stood beside Jayden as he watched the infamous Shikami Shinkou look as though he was having a conversation with their teammates Kurai Tau.

Now it's not that people fear Shikami like he's a monster, no not at all! More like the former Mizukage has a hell of a reputation. He's not some crazy insane Psycho, just a man…er…Ninja who deserves respect and if he's talking to you, don't mess around! Now their teammate Kurai has a hell of a mouth on him and probably has no idea who that is! This made Zim chuckle slightly, and as quietly as possible. They were about 15 feet from Shikami and Kurai.

“This is gonna be interesting, maybe we should just watch this play out instead of immediately jumping in. Jay, you and I both know Kurai has no idea who that is like we do. And this is going to be quite the interesting scenario!” Zim whispered to Jayden. No offense to Kurai but the kid has to learn someday.

Miz has woken up to Taki and Zumis favorite morning activity as of late, arguing. Again, Zumi was on Takis ass about Fukus activities! Why? Because she cares and apparently she found someone to lead their team.
“Since you, Jeordie, Zeb or Kiken refuse to lead the team, I found someone who would!” Zumi snapped at Taki as she threw on her lab coat to head to the hospital.
“What the fuck are you crazy? He's a former fucking Kage and he wouldn't waste his time with Fuku! You know how strict he is! They wouldn't last a day under him!” Taki fired back at her as the voices moved towards the kitchen.
“Taki, he trained your team, he trained my team and he's one of the best we have here in Kiri, and if anyone can turn that team around, he can! I requested his help because he knows that team's strengths because it's practically your team all over again. Nara, Tau, Hozuki and Terumi. Just like you guys and look at how powerful you guys are today!” She added as she started going through her backpack and making her lunch.
“Yeah but that's different and because of that….I don't know Zuzu, yeah we handle it but it wasn’t easy.” Taki said in an almost normal time as though he was trying to change it from an argument to a discussion.
“Exactly ... .you ‘Jounin Brothers ‘ are way too easy on them because you're related to them! Example….Jayden started that fire at the training facility because you guys lost control of the training exercise. It wasn't Jeordie, it was Jayden. Now, you guys are trying to cover your mistakes and blame yourselves. They were under your watch that day! Granted, it was an accident and Jayden was injured…I'm still upset with you guys over that…Luckily I healed his arm with minimal burn scars and he's just fine now ...but if this guy had been there that wouldn't have happened! You guys can't handle them. Now you and I know this guy can. I'm doing this because I care about that team! Now let the issue go…oh and I turned that report into the Kages office, I don't think you guys will be in too much trouble…but you will have some explaining to do Taki!” She said as she made her lunch and walked out the door. Miz was curious at this point on who this new guy was! A former Kage? Shiro Hyuuga? No couldn't be….his uncle was deceased…so…who then?
“Fuuuuck! I'm going to have so much paperwork to do because you did that! I better not have to guard the gates at night because you ran your mouth Zumi!” Taki said as he walked out the door following her! Miz heard the other three Jounins talking to him.
Miz got out of bed and changed his clothes and decided to go for a nice walk and to see if he could find his team. As he walked down the road leading to the park, he found his answer before his eyes!
“She was talking about Shikami.” He mumbled to himself standing beside Jayden.
“We already know how this is going to go.” He said after Zim spoke. “Who doesn't know Shikami?” Miz added speaking low like the other two.

“What the-!” Kurai yelled, turning to face the voice! His threads began to release around him looking like several snakes about to strike, this was a defensive reaction Kurai had developed over the years.
“What did you just say to me?” Kurai hissed as he moved closer to the man! Why did some random stranger approach him saying such things? “Who the hell are you?” Kurai added, staring into the strangers eyes!
“Do you always walk up to random people and insult them? Or am I special?” He said with a very twisted smile and attitude. He was about to start the fight, no, he was more of a defensive fighter! He would wait to see what the stranger would do before he made a single move.
However, something about this man's presence made Kurai realize he better be cautious, he'd stay on his guard, but he stepped back. He kept some threads out in case he needed to protect himself! Out of the corner of his eye, he saw three very familiar people arrive on the scene, the rest of his team! Wait a minute, why were they just standing there watching? Why were they not jumping in to help him? Did they know this person? Should he know this person? Maybe he should think before he speaks!

A sinister smile crossed the face of Shikami, so  many different ideas had crossed his mind, he would not kill nor maim this one, but he would have to teach this one a lesson. A Dark Aura, a cloak of chakra enveloped Shikami, If Kurai continued to peer into Shikami's eyes a second thing would trigger at the same time. Shortly after seeing his Aura, Kurai would be struck blind, and unable to move, and due ot the eye contact earlier, when asked questions, Kurai will have to speak the truth alone, However with Kurai seeing the chakra flare that eminated around Shikami, it forces a secondary effect onto him, putting him into a trance, At which time Shikami will Ask him three questions and get three truthful answers in response.

" What is it that you fear the most?" Would be the first Question.

After being answered Shikami would asked the second, " What is your true purpose for being in Kirigakure?"

And finally when the time came Shikami asked his third question, " What do you seek in life?" this final question would force Kurai to have to answer from his sub conceous , once the third question was answered, Kurai would drop Unconcious. Now The Aura would not affect the other three, but they could potentially feel a tad sluggish, as if because so many of them gazed upon it and they were not the intended targets it was to far spaced out to fully affect them. At that moment, Shikami would look up at the other three, Since They had approached from the side that Kurai had originally been looking towards but his back was towards now due to looking at Shikami "Is this your friend? He always getting himself into trouble like this with people so far above his level that he gets folded like this every time?"

Shikami knew the looks on their faces, they recognized him but he did not know them, they had to be new to the village , were they apart of Prim's group that she mentioned earlier? The Kunoichi that he had brought to Akabyoshi as a bit of a peace offering, he still had yet to think of a way to thank Dusk for the information that led him to getting the power he sought for so long. Shikami waited to hear an answer from the group that was not far out from him, he could easily blast them all if he needed to, but obviously if they had that look of fear and respect in the same breath on their faces, it should not be a issue from this group.

Shikami looked down at Kurai for a moment before he looked back up, knowing Kurai would be out for a little bit from the genjutsu combo he put him under. Might as well kill some time for him to wake up before teaching him more of a lesson further. Maybe he can teach this group a thing or two.

Jayden just stared at the scene before him, wide eyed and his jaw dropped as Kurai just kept staring into his eyes! Jayden felt a little guilty for not jumping in to save him from Shikami, but he has to learn at some point that running his mouth isn't the smartest tactic!
“And so begins the show!” Jayden said as soon as he felt this darkness emitting from Shikami. Shinkous are known for powerful dark genjutsu, and even though he was using it on Kurai, the whole team could feel it coming from the interaction as Shikami used it against Kurai.
“If we can feel it, damn I feel sorry for Kurai, but how else is he going to learn?” Jayden said as he talked to Miz and Zim. “Something's got to give with him, and it seems Shikami is the one to do it.” He added as he noticed Kurai seemed frozen in place. It happened rather quickly, the two interacted and next thing they knew, Kurai was out on the ground! Shikami never had to lift a finger and the dark feeling vanished! However, Jayden felt kind of tired himself suddenly, as though he had been affected.
Shikami walked over to the group and began talking to them.
“Unfortunately, that's normal for Kurai. Very few people have ever been able to deal with him. We have because we are numb to his actions. The Mizukage had no issues with him and a guy by the name of Stein was able to deal with him. Looks like you're the only other one that has been able to put him in his place!” Jayden smiled as he said the last part and looked over at the body of Kurai fast asleep on the ground! He couldn't help but snicker at the site!
“Oh sorry, let me introduce myself, I'm Jayden Terumi! I know who you are, you're a legend and it's nice to finally meet you Shikami!” Jayden was a little excited to meet him and slightly nervous considering he just took out his friend and teammate without lifting a finger.

Zim wanted to laugh but a sudden fear hit him when he felt the darkness from Shikami. And from the look of it Kurai was learning a valuable lesson from Shikami! Zim always wondered why Kurai Tau was such a loud mouth person. Many things in the world of ninjas can be handled in more discreet ways than being boisterous! That causes more problems and can be, let's say, troublesome! (Had to say it!)
After a brief interaction between Shikami and Kurai who seemed to be hypnotized, Kurai literally fell on the ground! He had passed out! And the dark feeling surrounding the group quickly faded.
“I feel sorry for Kurai as well, but a quick lesson from the former Mizukage should be a step in the right direction for him.” Zim said in reply to Jaydens comment.
Shikami left Kurai and approached the trio and began to talk to them. Zim kept his eye on Kurai who seemed to be safe for the time being, and after Jayden introduced himself, Zim spoke up as he looked at Shikami.
“Zim Nara, it's an honor to meet you sir, and I apologize for Kurai Taus' boldness, he doesn't know when to shut up. He's a member of our team.” Zim said politely and respectfully.

Whether Kage or former Kage, there was a certain way they came across to someone or presented themselves. Shikami definitely had a presentation and how Kurai didn't feel or notice it was beyond him! Miz specifically remembered his uncle Xyxers presence and of course how the current Mizukage, Jayden’s cousin, Akabayashi Terumi, represents himself! Shikami carries his presence quite well.
“Nothing we can do but watch the show.” Miz said as he pulled out a bag of popcorn from behind his back and offered some to Jayden and Zim. Whatever words were being exchanged by an obviously hypnotized Kurai and former Mizukage Shikami was unheard by them due to the distance between the two groups! But, shortly after the brief exchange, Kurai passed out, completely unconscious, on the ground and Shikami came over to them. Miz quickly tossed aside the popcorn box, somehow it disappeared without leaving a trace behind. After Jayden, who seemed excited to meet Shikami, and Zim introduced themselves and explained away Kurais arrogance, Miz decided to speak up.
“ I'm Mizuki Hozuki. I apologize for Kurais arrogant behavior as well, his attitude towards you will more than likely be different now. It usually takes someone putting him in his place before he respects them.” Miz said as he looked at the man before them!
