Drunks in Distress: Rough Robbery (WIP)

The night was drawing to an end as the crowd faded from the tavern, Takashi took a sip from his final bottle of sake looking up only when the lights flicked on. The strange little man who had offered him work before stepped out and began to request his service again, "I hate to ask you for help again, but people have tried to break in. Could you stake out the place and tell me what you see? Stop these people by any means but please don't destroy the place." Takashi grabbed another bottle of Sake and responded "Okay, I'll sit right here. After a moment more of back and forth they agreed and Takashi stayed after the doors were locked. Takashi sat on the stool only a little light over the bar illuminating the spot he was sitting as he sipped sake, he looked around and decided with no one around he could get away with a smoke. He reached inside his new robes pulling out a roughly 30cm brass and wood pipe, taking out a small burlap pouch and taking a pinch of tobacco from it putting it into the pipe. He focused on the tip of his right finger as he placed his pipe in his lips, his fingertip began to smoke as he pressed it against the tobacco in the pipe. He inhaled slowly waiting a moment to enjoy the smoke, slowly releasing the smoke through his lips and nose when he realized he had been sitting here for a few hours.
