Vein of Skill

Jinn's face would smack against the ground and he would be unaware of the pending danger he had put himself in by getting in the path of Rin's ninjato. He would slowly lift his head up from the ground. His nose would begin to drip a little blood. He would wipe it with the back of his right hand. While doing this he would notice Xyxer attacking Yousei. Luckily Rin had lifted his sword just in time to cushion the blow. Jinn would get up from the ground, his ninjato still gripped in his left hand. Just as Rin lunched the kunai at Xyxer, Jinn would bend his knees and measure up the distance between them, it was approximately ten meters in all. Jinn would move his right hand over to hold onto his left hand, which was holding the ninjato. Jinn would then dash forward with his ninjato, aiming at the back of Xyxer. During this action his speed and strength would be enhanced further then before.

Xyxer saw two things that seemed to be a danger to at him at the moment: A ninjato that could possibly rip into his leg, and a kunai that was going straight towards his face. Instead of having to deal with either of those problems, Xyxer pushed his single hand off from the ground to push himself up into the air so he avoided the sudden throw of the kunai, and instead of going for the boy's ankles he was instead going straight for the boy's chest with a powerful kick as he changed his leg's trajectory. As he was turning around to put momentum into it, he saw Jinn attacking with a Kenjutsu attack which had seemed to make him move quicker. None the less, Xyxer could still keep up with him and in the flash of an eye he had unsheathed his own Heaven's Sorrow Ninjato, putting it in the aim of the Jinn's so they would clash, and with Xyxer's great strength, it would more than likely temporarily damage Jinn's wrist.

Rin noticed Jinn dash right past him towards Xyxer. It was not Rin's ninjato, kunai and Jinn's attack he had to counter. And that he did. Rin only saw Xyxer suddenly push away from the ground avoiding his flying kunai as he suddenly got kicked into chest and sent flying away. He pulled the kunai after him. With a back flip the boy landed a few meters away from the others. When he raised his eyes he saw Xyxer counter Jinn's attack with his own ninjato. Rin would have liked to reengage but he could hardly breathe, not to mention actually fighting again. Sheathed his ninjato and took the second wired kunai again. Then he kneeled down to rest a bit, but ready to jump up any moment again if he needed.

{Aye, it seams since Rin has 6 stamina he can fight 6 posts, not 5, so the last one was fifth, now resting (+1 post) leaving me able to fight for 2 more}

Jinn could hardly see the fast movements of Xyxer, as he intercepted the pathway of Jinn's attack. Their swords would clash and from this Jinn could tell the gap between their strengths. Upon the swords clashing Jinn felt a sharp pain shoot through his wrist. He would jump backwards 2 meters from Xyxer. He would then attempt to do the same technique he did before. Though this time he would switch his ninjato in a different hand because his wrist was temporarily unusable. Kenchi would leap into the air and perform a front flip he would then slam his sword downwards with all of his strength, he was aiming for the head of Xyxer. "Heavens slam!" He would say once again.

Xyxer smiled as he saw that he had injured one of the boy's wrist and the other one had gone off to recover. A one on one hardly seemed fair, but the boy seemed to be too into the fight to admit defeat. Instead, the boy had jumped back and had changed his ninjato to his other hand; he was intent on continuing the fight. Putting away the kunai he had caught in the air, he just put it simply into his ninja pouch.Xyxer just chuckled as he watched the boy repeat the same move from before, but this time he had the audacity to perform it on the real version of him. Although a few thoughts crossed his mind on how to counter it, he decided to go with a quick one. He raised his wrist up into the air and used the equalizer on his left wrist to the block the incoming blow of the boy's ninjato. As this happened, his left wrist turned a little before his hand would try to latch onto the wrist of Jinn's, if this was to happen he'd immediately follow through with sweeping his right foot in and out of the legs of Jinn to make him fall on his back onto the ground.

Rin observed as Xyxer's and Jinn's blades clashed. He didn't know where to chip in at that moment, but as soon as Jinn backed up a bit and then repeated his assault, Rin jumped up with both of his wired kunais and quickly approached Xyxer from behind. "Heaven's Slam!" as Jinn was launching his attack and Xyxer busy countering it, Rin swung his weapons, one in a horizontal axis and another from above - in a vertical axis. There was a possibility Xyxer could outrun them, but since he was engaging Jinn for the moment, Rin hoped he'd notice the attack too late forcing him to avoid it by ducking down the horizontal swing, as he could not escape by jumping over it, because he'd meet the vertical swing there. And if he was to duck, Rin was ready to send a kick right at his face. This is of course assuming Xyxer does not find his own way around this. While Rin was doing the attack, Xyxer deflected Jinn's technique and mounted a quick counter attack. For a moment there Rin felt concern for his partner.

{Okay, I really don't like to do this, but I don't think I'm gonna wait any more. Let's skip Jinn, assume he doesn't avoid that counter and gets knocked around pretty bad and passes out. I know simply making him fall on the ground won't be enough, so you might as well kick him flying as long as you don't kill him. This would also pretty much be the end of this spar, since my character can only fight for one more post...}

Xyxer had quickly slammed the body of Jinn to the ground before he noticed a glinting of metal not too far away from him. He responded instantly, snatching the ninjato up from the now limp Jinn, while using his own. He swung both of them towards the glinting of the light, thus parrying two Kunais that were coming in vertically and horizontally. After a few seconds of looking into the eyes of the boy, Xyxer stepped back once and threw the ninjato next to Jinn, letting it impale the soil just inches from his face, "You shinobi have a lot to learn if you wish to succeed in Kirigakure. When you feel strong enough, you may challenge me again." After those words, Xyxer had turned around and exited the area in a relaxed stroll.

Right before Rin's attack Xyxer knocked down Jinn and took his ninjato, then he swiftly turned around and deflected the boy's attack. Rin got the kunais back, but was too exhausted to continue the attack and now that Jinn go defeated it wouldn't make much difference anyway. Even though Xyxer's eyes were not visible from underneath his mask, Rin had a feeling he was thinking the same, as they were standing right in front of each other, but none of them starting an attack. After a moment or two Xyxer threw Jinn's ninjato next to his body, only inches away from his face. "You shinobi have a lot to learn if you wish to succeed in Kirigakure. When you feel strong enough, you may challenge me again." Then he left. Rin fell to his knees feeling completely powerless. He just must gain more power. There are more people like this out there and probably not as friendly as Xyxer. Somewhere deep down Rin even knew this was just a tip of Xyxer's powers as he didn't see any serious techniques...

After catching his breath and resting for a few minutes the boy walked up to his unconscious partner and checked if he had any serious injuries. Fortunately he was fine more or less. Then Rin collected whatever equipment might have been lost in the fight and after waiting for Jinn to wake up, he went back to the village.
